Laurel Tree Cottage is a traditional English home situated in a beautiful country setting near Bourton-on-the-Water, sleeping 9+2 guests with the +2 option being a 4ft double sofa bed. Laid out over three floors, this large family home boasts bright and colourful bedrooms, a spacious yet cosy living room and a large open plan kitchen/dining room with farmhouse style decor that has been featured in Country Homes & Interiors magazine and described as 'Simply Idyllic' in a three-page spread in 25 Beautiful Homes magazine. The well-equipped kitchen opens out into the generous manicured grounds with a wildflower area. There is also a children's play area and off-street parking for up to three medium sized cars. Laurel Tree Cottage is a dog friendly holiday home, suitable for two dogs.

This stylish six-bedroom property, located in the tranquil English village of Guiting Power, close to Cheltenham, is perfectly suited for families and friends looking to spend time together in an unspoilt Cotswold village. The accommodation is laid out as follows:

The gated gravel driveway provides designated off-street parking for up to three medium-sized cars, and additional on-street parking is available within the village. Guests must not park on the tarmac driveway located directly outside the electric gate, as this area belongs to a neighbouring property and is not permitted for guest use. This instruction is made at the owner’s request and must be strictly adhered to

The maximum occupancy for this property is 11 guests. Infants do not count towards the occupancy figure, however, due to space restrictions the occupancy can only be exceeded by 3 additional infants (aged 2 or under)
Bed linen and towels are provided
The gated gravel driveway has designated off-street parking for up to three medium sized cars, and further on-street parking is available in the village
1 travel cot and 1 Tripp Trapp chair are available on request (please bring your own linen for the travel cot, as this is not provided). There are two fixed stair gates which are positioned so that the first-floor landing can be enclosed
Up to two medium sized dogs are accepted for an additional £40 per booking per dog (please see 'Things to Note...' below). For pet rules, please visit our FAQs
The property’s garden is enclosed by hedges only, so young children and pets should be supervised outside at all times

Please be mindful that there are low doorways, multiple floors and steps from the driveway down to the kitchen

No smoking or vaping is permitted throughout the property

The garden is regularly maintained by a professional gardening service and although this work is generally carried out when the property is vacant, the gardener may need to carry out work whilst the property is occupied. If you require further information, please don’t hesitate to contact us
Please note the neighbour keeps free roaming chickens, so dogs will need to be supervised when outside and kept on the lead if they are not chicken friendly. The garden is not fully enclosed as some of the boundary is hedged rather than securely fenced

Family get together

A wonderfully warm and homely house- beautifully decorated and fitted out. It was perfect for our family of 4 couples and 3 children. Great garden and play equipment. We had a lovely time.

Lovely location

We had a fab stay in Laurel Tree Cottage. It’s a beautiful and tastefully renovated cottage that has been extended. It was a lovely location in a charming village and the neighbours opposite (Roland and his wife) were very friendly and helpful. It’s a bit tired in parts and could do with replacing, wooden table and chairs outside, kettle and some kitchen chairs and items. But would thoroughly recommend it for a quiet and peaceful weekend in the Cotswolds.

lovely venue in good location

worth reading the reviews before arriving - we did, and brought our own towels & cooking ingredients as no food/condiments/drinks on site & tiny towels! Received a lovely goodie bag with eggs, bread etc from the local farm shop. House is comfortable & warm thanks to Aga.

Beautiful house

We loved this house. It is situated in a beautiful village with a farm shop, coffee shop, 2 pubs , one of which was a classic old fashioned pub with a traditional skittle alley which we loved. There was also a lovely old church, a play ground and lovely walks from the house. The house itself is beautiful- a light filled spacious kitchen with a comfy sofa, 2 further living spaces, lovely comfortable bedrooms with good quality bedding and modern bathrooms. We were very comfortable and relaxed and would definitely return. We loved the outside space, the garden had numerous apple trees, was charming and slightly overgrown in the best possible way. The children ( and possibly the adults too!) loved the trampoline. Thank you for such a gorgeous stay; we will definitely return.

Beautiful Property

We had a lovely stay here my only input to future guests would be that if you want to cook for a large group in the summer months think about requesting the Aga as the cooker and BBQ are both small there was only 5 of us so it was fine however cooking for 11 would be a challenge without the Aga. Apart from this build the property was clean and beautiful and the admin very simple to follow would highly recommend .
