The music for the bar is loud and runs late but if you’re used to that then you’ll be fine. No mini fridge, coffee maker, or microwave. Those are my only complaints. 「There are NO STAFF ON SITE. I was on tour, which means we often check in after midnight, after a show. It terrified me to arrive at the hotel to find that I needed a security code to gain entrance, a code that was buried deep within several looooong messages from the hotel. At 3am, I am standing outside on an empty street, with no eye witnesses with thousands of dollars of gear, stressed because I couldn't find the check-in code. 「The property is beautiful. Our room was lovely—very clean and comfortable. The seating in our room was perfect for reading, and the balcony an extra treat. Allen was so gracious and helpful. The location was great for dinner plans and a short easy drive to Churchill Downs. Breakfast was delicious—especially the biscuits and gravy. 「This property was amazingly clean. The rooms were clean and large in size. The only thing I would suggest is having free breakfast and consider adding a pool! Otherwise was perfect!」

「The house is absolutely stunning! Pat the owner goes out of her way to make sure your stay is as wonderful as possible. She has everything for you toiletries, beverages, snacks, etc. She takes special orders for breakfast, which is amazing when traveling with picky eaters. 」

「The staff was amazing and made the trip. They seemed like they enjoyed their jobs and were always willing to help! The only concern I had was hair on towels. We would request new ones, but when we opened them up, there would always be long black hair. They looked clean, so I wonder if the person who is folding them just needs to put their hair a bun?」
