「I had a room on the first floor which I did not like. The bathroom light was really dim and the bathroom was super tight. When I went to wash my hands the water in the sink was really slow to go down. Ultimate turn off. I called the front desk and was put on hold for 15 minutes. I hung up and didn't call back and they didn't call me back. I left and went somewhere else. I was over it.」

「Breakfast is always on spot , I chose Tru for this reason as well. I have stayed several times already and no complain or whatsoever. Hopefully there will be microwave in the rooms or at least in the lobby for guests to use.」

「The staff were great and did very well with what they had. We were in a two bedroom king suite. The had been smoked in at some point and the smell was still present. The furniture had a lot of wear and tear and look like it should be in a fraternity house. The fitted sheets or mattress pad did not fit the bed and the corners constantly came detached. Also, one of the toilets would continuously run until the tank lid was taken off and the valve was manually shut. This property has a lot of wear...

「It’s an older property as fast as HI’s go but still clean and comfortable. Even better, the staff were great! Bryan at the front desk is someone I remembered from a stay at the HGI in Chesapeake - top notch. Karen hosted breakfast and sang softly to the soundtrack. I had my headphones and YT music but didn’t need them. People make the difference and this team rocked it! Don’t hesitate at all to stay at this one 」

「Front desk girl…fantastic! Ain’t peeling off wooden bathroom counter…unsanitary. Sink had been patched to the wall. Looked like it was going to fall off. Mattress was so worn you could see body imprints. Pillows were great, room was clean. Housekeeping people were pleasant.」
