“There are no photos of the amazing backyard and steps covered in plants that lead to the door, it was a hidden surprise this close to an urban area. The lilies were open and the back porch was divine. My friend and I travel the country following a band, and this host has been my favorite thus far. She is very knowledgeable on the area and how to get around, as well as having tips on where to eat close by. We were there the weekend of the political parade and it was beautiful to see the locals……

“Upon arrival, I noticed the carpet had recently been vacuumed which was nice. The WiFi worked great, and I enjoyed the benefit of having access to a TV with cable in the bedroom. There was hand soap, and even shampoo in the shower if I needed it. The window AC unit in the bedroom worked just fine. Dr. Gibson had stellar communication throughout and was accommodating to a request I had made. Very friendly. I would have preferred having a blanket or comforter as there was only a top sheet on the……

“The bluebird suite was beautiful and clean. Access was easy and the owner was very accommodating. breakfast food provided in the room, which was a nice touch. 10 minute walk into town down a steep hill but there were also a couple nice restaurants very close and the AT conservancy office is right across the street. ”

“Overall, we had a very pleasant stay. The kitchen was well equipped with the basic appliances. The 3 bedrooms were very comfortable. There were plenty of extra towels, pillows, and comforters available. The home is close to the Metro (12 minute walk) and Whole Foods (7 minute walk). ”

“It was such a lovely space! The views in the morning were phenomenal and the space itself was large and comfortable. The ceiling fans were a godsend after walking back from a day on the trails. We are already planning to come back :]”
