「Room was a bit small but very comfortable. Dinner was top quality both in preparation and presentation. Staff were well trained polite friendly and efficient Breakfast had a wide choice and was well presented」

「EXcellent,5 star hotel come pub and restaurant.Thoroughly clean throughout,excellent choice of real ales, excellent varied menu,ultra clean super king bedroom,overlooking the Dee marshes,and nice views over to Wales!Our favourite place to stay locally,just an hour travel from Merseyside area.a.Well be back soon!」

「The rooms were really clean, and the staff was amazing. They were helpful and attentive to anything that I needed. The food, oh my, the food - so, so good. Over the course of a week, I had the fish & chips, the burger, a chicken Caesar salad, and multiple variations of the eggs Benedict. The location is great, providing lots of opportunities to explore and walk around. Thanks, Hartford Hall!」

「Parking at the back which was easy to find. Plenty spaces free while we were there in July. Gorgeous decked terraces at the back with flowers and lights. We entered car reg on the screen as we went in & went to check-in. This was an easy process and staff member was polite & efficient. We were shown to our room at the top of the first lot of stairs & the staff member explained about breakfast etc. Lovely sized room overlooking King Street. We were there during a heatwave, but the room was cool....

「Beautiful, quiet spot and nice clean room. The only issue was the beds were not great.」

「Pros: lovely breakfast, nice aspect to the room and comfortable bed. Staff are delightful Cons: bathroom is a little tired - mildew and taps not fully working - but workable. 」

「Staff was attentive and pleasant. Problems were that they ran out of basic breakfast menu items. Additionally, the property is not air conditioned and no fans were available until we requested one. The windows were restricted from being opened beyond two inches. The bed was extremely hard and uncomfortable. On one evening, the hotel was completely out of ice.」
