「Nicholas Cage was definitely an unexpected surprise. But was a unique experience that I’m sure me and my friends will joke about for time to come. I did think the front yard look messy with the excessive amount of trees. And stair to the loft are steep and should be included in the listing. Those are just minor inconveniences out experience was over all a great one and I would choose this place again.」

「They provided snacks and were welcoming and friendly. Cute neighborhood with good places to eat within a block or two and very close to the parks! My only note is that it smelled a little off and it may have been to do with the AC being in a window near the dumpsters behind the property? Not sure because the house was spotless! Maybe a glade plug in or such to keep it smelling fresh?」

「All in all good stay. Did’t like they can listen in on conversation with the systems they have in the kitchen. Siding was knocking on the outside wall, but would a guess it blew off in the wind storm the day before we arrived. Nice clean place」

「Dirty, animal hair everywhere, stunk of animals, mouse traps everywhere, mouse poop all over, clothes in the dryer, shower faucet was half broken, bed sheets and animals hair, not a 4 bedroom as advertised, air mattresses all had holes. Not at all acceptable for a "vacation rental", 2 nights we stayed and it was not cheap, I expected way more.」

「Was on a family medical visit from Oklahoma. And this was my first time staying at a BNB. Had always book hotel rooms. Had many family members and children. Close to hospital. Very clean unit. Excellent grocery store at end of block. Unit fully stocked. I found myself over packed. Easy to cook meals for family with supplies available. When I had questions due to my lack of knowledge. One phone call answered all questions. If another visit is necessary. I will be looking for this unit again. 」

「We had a great time! The Red Barn was just what we needed for some quiet time to relax and take our time in St. Charles. The location is the perfect distance from the main street so you don't have to walk far to find something to do, but it's also not right on the "main drag" where you'd have people walking by all the time. Thanks for the hospitality!」

「We stayed with 3 families for our girls dance competition it was a great location and very clean. The beds were super comfy and we had everything we needed. We would for sure stay again if we came back in town for this competition next season!」

「The apartment was amazing! The outdoor patio near the club house was messy and i was nervous to use the hot tub. I was disappointed because i really wanted a use the outdoors space. But otherwise it was great! 」

「This house was perfect for our family to hang out and hit Main Street in St. Charles. The house itself has an updated kitchen and bathrooms and has enough space for a big family chill and watch movies or play video games. It is within walking distance of all the attractions on Main Street and if you are up to it, the Ameristar casino.」
