This was a really nice hotel in a great area with tons of restaurants, well lit up streets and easy walking in the downtown River North area. The hotel itself was lively on the ground floor with its bar and restaurant and the room was clean and well laid out and quiet overall The bed/pillows were really, really comfortable. I would stay here again anytime.

If you’re not into sleeping and like a lumpy bed on a trip and enjoy noise of hearing fire trucks, loud music and cars all night until 3a, this is the place for you. I would not recommend this hotel.

The property is conveniently located near numerous restaurants. The staff was extremely friendly. However, the room was very dusty!!! There was pet dander all over the towels, blankets, and floor. Every day, I bought Claritin from the front desk. I inquired about getting another room because of this, and was told there were none available that were similar to the one I was currently in. I was told they would send housekeeping to my room, but they never arrived. I believe that if hotels allow pets, they must ensure that the room is thoroughly cleaned before the next guest arrives. I was unable to sleep comfortably throughout my stay due to severe allergy attacks. If you have allergies to pets, dust, etc. PLEASE FIND OTHER ACCOMMODATIONS.

So cool and modern. Not a ton of bathroom privacy (a sliding door separates the toilet and shower from the rest of the room. It is an awesome hotel in a great location. So close to everything we wanted to do. Would definitely stay again.

I really enjoyed my stay. The location is perfect and I would highly recommend a city view room. My view was beautiful day and night. The staff was extremely friendly and Beatrix is a great spot inside of the hotel to dine. My only critique would be that I didn’t receive housekeeping services will I was there. If it is something that has to be requested, telling guests on arrival would be helpful. Outside of that, I would recommend staying here and wouldn’t mind returning in the future!

This hotel was perfect for our stay in chicago. Close to everything! Room was exactly like the picture and super clean. The staff was extremely friendly and the attached restaurant was amazing!!

When I arrived at the property, the clerk told me they were overbooked by Expedia and they had a room for us at a sister hotel next door. I spoke with the manager because I didn't want to stay there and had booked this room months in advance. The manager gave us a room and a coupon up eat at the amazing Beatrix restaurant that is attached to the hotel. Our stay was great and the staff was wonderful. My only complaint, which is not a complaint about the hotel, is that there was a lot of noise very late at night from late partyers, pedestrians, and ambulances. I've stayed in Chicago many times before and this is the first time I've heard so much noise outside a hotel.

The ac / heating thermostat refused to work. The stay way very noisy and cold inside of the room from a nonstop air-conditioning. Could not sleep.

I showed up to check in and they didn’t have a room available, was sent over to the Hyatt. Also this area is EXTREMELY loud until the early morning hours. Partying, sirens, loud music… if you want a room where you will get no sleep..this is your place

Well priced for the Chicago area. Room small but designed thoughtfully for efficient storage and comfort. Excellent location and walkability. Grab a Spot Hero at a nearby parking ramp and you’re golden.

It’s a quiet, clean hotel. I did expected the hotel room to be more physically appealing in the rooms. But there was no damage and very clean hotel no odors and bed very comfortable. Bummed out the TV didnt have Netflix, nor I can do iPhone mirror sharing.

The staff was friendly and helpful(10/10). The bed and bedding were comfy enough(8/10). The shower could use more pressure(7/10). We stayed three nights and four days. Our room was only cleaned once during stay. I am used to having it cleaned once a day.
