Being August, without central air, the property was very warm in all the rooms without the portable AC units. The place should be described without central A/C and no washer and dryer, as an old renovated house. I wouldn't call it cozy since the rooms are piecey and chopped up. Otherwise, the place was ok.

Molded Smell, inaccurate amenities, and dishonest Host

This host was not truthful about property amenities and condition of property. When my family and I walked into the property, there was a foul scent of mold that attempted to be covered up by air fresheners. They had the portable ac unit that only cooled two rooms leaving the kitchen and the bathroom burning up. They said they offered laundry by did not have washer and dryer. We left shortly after opening the door on arrival day. I complained to the host and VRBO and requested refund but both are refusing. The host went back in and tried to change that they ever offered laundry in the 1st place but luckily I took screen shots. I clearly told them we we were leaving upon entry into the home but they lied and said they could not cancel on their end and I would have to do it. I screenshot VRBO alerting me that I was not able to cancel due to it being past the check in time. The host said that VRBO told them I had to cancel. It was back and forth between both parties with nothing resolved.
