The reason for our stay was for an event at the Tinley Park Convention Center. The only good about the place was it was clean, and it was roomy enough for the four of us. However, as soon as we entered the place, we realized the air conditioning was not working properly. The thermostat read 83 inside. I immediately texted the host and was told she was unaware of the problem with the A/C and it was strange because it was 66 when she was there earlier. She said she would send a tech by. The tech showed up and all he did was take pictures and let us know it was the 2nd time someone was there that day. So obviously, there was a problem with the A/C. The issue was never resolved, and we ended up having to buy fans and open the windows that evening to cool the place done. We never heard anything more from the host regarding the issue. Another major concerning issue was when we arrived and retrieved the three keys from the lockbox we were unsure what condo was ours. We tried the keys and they opened another condo that was not ours, as soon as it was opened there were shoes on the floor, and I could tell it wasn’t ours from the description online. Thankfully there wasn’t anyone there because it could have ended very unpleasantly.
We got the impression we were the first to ever rent the place. Needless to say, we were there to sleep and that was basically it. We should have been notified of the problem with the A/C and the issue with the keys should not have happened.
