在芝加哥的三天里最贵的一家酒店，比我订的另外两家贵 100 美元，但却是条件最差的。首先环境比较吵闹，经常有火车经过。其次房间面积很小，各个家具看上去都旧旧的，金属衣架上面全是刮痕，简直像二十年前的三星酒店用过的东西。厕所的门又大又重，也没有门挡让它保持开启状态，带来了很大的麻烦！洗手池太小了我只能把化妆品都放在卫生间外面，用完粉底液需要开一次门出去放下，拿修容膏，再开厕所门进去，然后再开门出来…从护肤到化妆我开了二十几次门，简直想把门砸了。难以置信这家店的九分以上好评怎么来的，就因为一楼华而不实的几家餐厅和酒吧吗？8 分才是它应该在的位置。

The location was the primary attraction for this property. We had adjoining rooms with friends visiting so that was a big plus. Staff was friendly and the so were the folks at the bar. Hotel could use some updates

The wife and I did a staycation and let me say it was worth it! You definitely wouldn’t have to leave the hotel. Main level the basement and the roof all had a vibe to it! Will definitely stay again!

There is something for everyone at this nicely located hotel near the Green Line and steps away from many chic restaurants and bars. The Hoxton pays attention to details and adds the extras that elevate a stay -- water bottle fill stations on every floor, coffee bar in the hotel, quick early breakfast delivered to the room for those rushing out. The downside was the AC did not work in our room, the fridge did not cool in our friends' room, and a room flooded into the hall, so some maintenance issues. Only 2 elevators = very slow during peak times. And, make sure to ask for the quiet side of the building if the train will keep you awake or wake you up in the morning.
