This hotel allows you to step back into an earlier time in history! I was pleased to learn that there were many great memories created there. The location is excellent and it is right across the street from the new District 1881. Definitely will stay again!

Friendly and helpful staff, rooms are clean and do the job. There was no air conditioning so it was quite hot; thankfully we had a ceiling fan and pedestal fan, otherwise it would have been unbearable. We couldn't keep the curtains open because our window overlooked the main street. It was helpful to have a fridge, microwave, and coffeemaker.

It’s an older hotel and has some charm but the area they are in needs some cleaning up.

I had a room on the 3rd floor, it was so hot, no air conditioning. Sleeping was impossible. I stayed at this hotel before, in a different room, there was air conditioning, and it was on a lower floor. For the cost, a small window air conditioner would make. Huge difference. The check in time was very strict as well.

I did not realize they had no air conditioning. They did however provide a fan which did help. Rooms the size of a bedroom and bathroom very tiny. But I guess that is what you can expect for a historical hotel.

No AC they said its because its old no mini fridge nothing but a very small room and a small bathroom. Hot and cramped no elevators. Only offers a comon area with a small fridge . Staff was very nice though . Will not re visit.
