“Our stay at Villa Lampedusa Hotel & Residence was perfectly fine and actually better than we expected. We chose it because of its convenient location near the airport for the last night of a long trip, and it served that purpose well. The room and bathroom were both spacious and generally clean, although the property could benefit from some updating. It has a lot of potential with a few renovations. The toiletry is also out of my expectation, shampoo and body wash in different flavors for selection! The most impressive is the owner, Marco, he is so friendly and nice! He gave us all good advices on fantastic tourist attractions and restaurants. The location of this place is also convenient, for both driving or not driving there as there is a 24hr security Carpark nearby……

“Property is a colonial style courtyard series of large rooms. There is no traditional Hotel Services and the Propert is extremely difficult to find. You MUST locate the #60 on a fenced property as there is No Signage and only a 1” x 3” hand written note of the name of Corte del Merlo. The external area is very dark and a little worn. Access is a secured entry that requires you to press a button. Eventually someone comes to the Iron Fence to let you into the property which is very pleasant.……

“The front desk did not relay a lot of information when we got to the hotel. We did not know to make a reservation at soon as we got there. Not a good description of how to access lunch, and was not told needed swim caps for pool. This could be the custom, but we are not used to it and so we didn’t know.”
