"A dream stay. Lovely cottage on a working farm just a few minutes drive from Castle Combe and Chippenham. The hosts were lovely, the cottage was warm and homely with an amazing log burning fire. Each morning, a freshly cooked breakfast is brought to your door at a time of your choosing. Would highly reccommend to all."

"Simply amazing, self contained Annex with sitting room overlooking the garden, large bedroom, bathroom with walk in shower and well appointed kitchen fully stocked with lots and pans. I only stayed 2 nights and ate out, but for others this would be ideal as a base location to explore the area. "

"Beautiful Manor Hotel in the most picturesque village set in the hills of the Cotswolds. The staff did everything to make us feel welcomed and well taken care of. Walking trails were close to hotel and beautiful. Golf course was excellent and golf club was great food and service. We will definitely be back."

Check in we could have done with more information for example there is no evening meal on a sunday and the breakfast information so was slow to unravel. The room and bathroom was spacious and dogs are welcome without an additional charge. However we could have done with locating a poo bin. The food was nice with sensible portions. "The lady who runs this is delightful. The property is fairly comfortable but it is an old property and it seems to be a residential property with a few rooms to rent. The room was advertised as full breakfast, the owner said this was wrong but as I had booked it with breakfast, she produced a lovely selection of fruit, cereals, bread and croissants and juice which was what I really wanted. She provides lots of material on the locality. The local village is lovely with a nice very inexpensive pub...

"Perfect location. Lovely modern room on top floor in the new building. Half the property seems to be the original coaching inn and half a new build with the pool. No negative points but easy wins would be no shower gel in room, only shampoo/conditioner, robes and slippers to go down to the pool in would be a treat. "
