Very quaint and quirky. Staff were friendly and helpful. We loved that Harry Potter was filmed here and there is so much history. We only spent an overnight stay as we were at a wedding, but wished we had more time. Highly recommend.

This was a very cool 15th century building, and you can tell: low doorways, sloped floors, ancient doors-- it's all there. The room was great, the bed was comfortable, the bathroom was nice, the shared parlor was a bonus. But, if you just want to bask in history, this is the place to stay. And, as an extra treat, the front of the building was featured in Harry Potter 5. We loved it!
