“The window screen fell out in the night from wind and landed on the person on the bed, which hurt and was scary. We did not see the fan that was under the bed until the next day when we checked to see if we left anything. Very small space…less than a typical hotel room.”

“Nice quiet location shared with other renters apartments. Was nice to be able to do laundry after 5 days in an off grid cabin. Place was clean and comfortable. Only down side was no A/C they did have fans in the rooms to help circulate the air and was able to open some of the windows at night to cool it down. Some windows hand cranks did not work.”

“Nice place to stay as it is close to all the things to do and see.”

“This is a cozy and comfortable place with beautiful views. We enjoyed the fire pit and Adirondack chairs for evening entertainment on the beach!”

“It was a great place to stay.”

“The place was clean and quiet. No problems with checking in or out. My only issues were furniture was very sparse. Took a table from bedroom to put by chair. Watching TV was extremely difficult because it was mounted so high on wall. The bathroom was clean. The sink you had to be very careful not to spill water on floor as it was the tiniest sink I have seen. There was nowhere to put any toiletries in bathroom. I do think once the host has completed with remodel the place will be a very nice. I……

“Excellent location to do all things Sault Ste Marie and Mackinac Island. Having two refrigerators worked very well for our group. The kids loved the bunkbed arrangement.”

“We loved our stay & it was wonderful being so close to Lake Superior! There aren’t a ton of food options nearby so I’d suggest bringing your own to cook there if you have any picky eaters. We’ll definitely be back if we get the chance!”

“If you want somewhere that is is in the middle of nowhere, this place is that place for you. There is no AC, but we had plenty of fans, although the handles to the windows didn't work so you had gaps where bugs could come in throughout the day/night. The one handle didn't work, so my husband had to remove all the screens to push out the windows. overall clean, but not enough items for the amount of people it states that it accommodates. Host did not respond right away and didn't leave another……

“I actually booked this hosts other property, but booked for the wrong dates. Messaged the host and they were able to accommodate us in this property instead. Communication was great! Property was exactly as listed and the host was very sweet and kind when we spoke to her in person. Close to town but far enough away to be very quiet. We would definitely stay here again if we're in the area!”

“We had a wonderful time on this beautiful property! Everything was clean and well maintained. We cooked in the kitchen with ease with all that was provided. The view of the lake from our cottage was awesome and within a few steps we were in the sand and water! The kayaks were an added bonus and we had so much fun! The hosts were so friendly but gave us our space. It was the perfect balance of being seconds from town, but also tucked away in our own little refuge. It was such a cozy and relaxing……

“A wonderful place to stay! So clean, great air-conditioning, cozy, and a great price! Parking is easy, right in front. Minimal noise outside. We loved it!”

“Adorable little place right on Whitefish Bay. Very clean, cozy and comfy. Cleaning person was always cleaning - even dusting off outside propane grills, chairs and the walls. She was very friendly and gave us her phone number if we needed anything. They even provided a bundle of wood for the outdoor fire pit. Small kitchen area had retro colors for a small frig and coffee pot. Kitchen was well stocked with dishes and pans. Decor in the whole place was adorable. Wi-Fi in the UP……

“Room was clean and was as described. The one thing if I had to be picky is the main bathroom had no outlets and the second bedroom half the outlets didn’t work. Other than that it was cozy, clean and very quiet.”

“Property was as listed, clean and host was responsive. The shower was the only drawback. I am only 5’3” tall yet the shower head was too short for me! Water pressure was low and the shower curtain was very discolored (likely from hard water) and needs to be replaced. Still, it was way better than the local hotel where I stayed on an earlier trip.”

“Very clean and nice amenities!”

“The property was great. Had good communication from management who manages property. The keyless entry door however was very difficult to ise and needs to be repaired. This was mentioned to manager”

“Very clean and great location. Nicely stocked with necessities. Definitely would recommend staying here!”
