There’s also a very friendly and very affordable rent a car shop just 2 minutes walking from the hotel. The Hotel staff are very nice, professional and friendly. Our stay was great! Felt like family. "Very convenient to the train station, easy to access, very quiet, great shower and amenities. If you are looking for a place close to Sangenjaya or Shibuya, this is a good local area. The only improvement I could suggest is softer pillows :) "

"This is a great hotel for staying around Kichijoji -- which has a great variety of shopping, restaurants and even a nice park with a large pond -- or even for Tokyo in general as it is only a 10/15-minute train ride from Shinjuku. It is super close to Kichijoji station (like 2 minutes). It's also close to Inokashira Koen (Park). The rooms are clean and quiet, if rather small -- that's standard in Japan. We often stay here and would recommend it. "

"It was very relaxing with an onsen downstairs and a lounge upstairs. The capsule rooms were very clean and comfortable, with outlets for your things, a personal fan and ac, and a sliding door."

"I booked a smoking room and I got a smoking room. The air cleaner in the room works great and the room is bigger than normal JR hotels. Everything is nice about the hotel. I have been staying in JR East hotel Mets for sometime now and I am beginning to get hooked to it. If I were to nitpick, I do need to carry my luggage up a few steps twice to get to the lobby of the hotel. Not a deal breaker but for smaller ladies who are not so strong, do take note. "
