This does mean that you're located in the "entertainment district," so some of the nearby establishments are meant for adults only, but it is perfectly safe. The staff are very helpful and, for better or worse, they actively expect guests not to speak Japanese. Breakfast has both Asian and Western offerings, and the internet is easy and fast. Shinjuku Gyoen, the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building, and Godzilla Road are all within a few minutes by foot. "
