Huge perk is the access (beach or otherwise) to their sister property on the water - Belmond Saint Andrea - they treat you as if your one of theirs. "This room was a great size and the separate shower/ toilet to sink area and large wardrobe room was great when you have four people sharing. The room had plenty of space and the balcony and seabird were great. We found the breakfast quality to be good and varied and loved the pool ( big enough to swim in properly and not too busy). Yes the hotel is down or up a steep drive depending which way you approach and driving through Taormina isn’t easy ( narrow streets and people everywhere) but the town is beautiful and the hotel was in a great location - easy walk to restaurants. We did a road trip around Sicily and this was one of our favourites in terms of location, room, view, food and pool."

"The amazing view from our room and the dining area in the hotel was SPECTACULAR. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful and the location was ideal - the hotel is about a 10-minute walk from the city center. I was able to park my car on-site as well. The room was spacious and clean. I would and will recommend Bel Soggiorno to friends traveling to Taormina for sure!"
