「This is a corporate hotel in a city, there is nothing special about it. The restaurant is mediocre but the people are really nice. Hotels.com is WRONG they don’t have king beds. I would not stay here again. You have to pay for parking and walk about a block, no loading zone in front of the hotel. 」

「Lovely traditional pub, wonderful atmosphere everything clean and great attention to detail. Room quite sweet. Lost our food order for dinner which led to an hour's delay. Were apologetic. Despite this would happily return, 」

「Strong WiFi throughout. Plenty of choice for breakfast, although the cooked food was a bit salty for our liking. Bed was firm, with a creak. Non feather bedding, so great for allergies. Bathroom door wasn't keen to stay shut. Room was clean. Great selection of teas, coffee and hot chocolate as well as biscuits. Quiet location over the night. Steak and ale pie great, veg pie you needed a spoon to eat the contents with. 」

「Excellent stay, friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast was wonderful, hot selection freshly cooked to order. Good continental selection. Room was quite new and spotless. Had a fridge with water and pepsi, also some nuts and biscuits included. Lovely village location. 」

「Amazing stay, staff are great and the food is always fantastic. The only point for improvement is that is a difference in the rooms between above the bar and the ground level rooms which the price doesn’t reflect very well」

「It is a true gem of a hotel. Beautiful buildings, both old and new, and a magical garden. Two residents lounges plus a library with pool/snooker table. Reception were efficient and friendly, and the room exceeded our expectations, with wonderful attention to details. I am not a breakfast lover, but there was plenty of xhoice, and frankly the best hotel breakfast I have ever sampled. The situation of the hotel made it easy to walk to the old castle, and Sherborne itself is picturesque and...
