Remarkable!!

Marilì and Marco were phenomenal hosts! The flat is perfect for 2 people and is cozy and so cute. The hot springs tour was so much fun and having Marilì and Marco was so helpful with the language barrier. They were both so friendly and made us feel like family! We will be booking with her again!

From the minute I booked ‘Mawita’ our host Maria went above and beyond to accommodate our every need. The flat was amazing and filled with many more well thought out amenities that usual. You will love everything about booking and staying at this amazing property.

Excellent stay and wonderful service. Everything was exactly as shown and promised and Marili was an excellent host. From seamless airport pickup, touring various points of interest and dropping is off at the port, she was an outstanding host and person. Bed was very comfortable and location. Quite beautiful. Highly recommend.

Fantastic Seaview- Wonderfully Decorated

Marili met us at the door and was very friendly. She thought of EVERYTHING! The apartment is very well equipped. Marili offers many other tourist related services too but we weren't there long enough to take advantage of them. Would love to go back again for a longer stay. Civitivecchia is much more beautiful than I thought it would be.

A beautiful weekend retreat

On a whim, I booked a trip to Italy and found Marilì's listing when searching for a place to stay. I wanted to spend a long weekend somewhere quiet and beautiful, and Mowita was the perfect spot. Civitavecchia is an easy 40-min train ride from Rome, and Mowita is only a 5-minute walk from the station. The view from the balcony was exactly what I wanted and filled me with joy - I took many, many photos and videos from that spot during my visit. But above and beyond the gorgeous views, Marilì was a wonderful host. She communicated with me frequently leading up to my trip, picked me up from the train station because it was raining, and had assembled many wonderful treats at Mowita to enhance my stay. She and her husband were also kind enough to invite me to dinner with some friends, which was a highlight of the weekend. The food and company were exceptional! I went looking for a weekend of 'dolce far niente' and everything about my stay at Mowita lived up to my expectations. I'd highly recommend Mowita to anyone looking for the perfect spot in Civitavecchia!

Great location. Flat has everything you need. The host was absolutely wonderful! She took us on a day trip to several treasures of places and her communication from booking through departure was over the top. We had a medical emergency during our stay and she came to the hospital to help out with language and comfort. Wish I could have given 10 stars instead of 5. Highly recommend this property.

A Perfect Location

Great location with Beautiful views of the sea. Everything from initial contact to arrival at the flat to departure was flawlessly organized and completely worry-free. Owner/Host Marili was very nice and sweet and went above and beyond every expectation to ensure our complete satisfaction. We felt so comfortable with her as if we had known her for years- just like family. The Restaurant Osteria Del Prigo is right outside the entry and had great seafood with large portions at a good price. Avoid Pirgo Cafe which is nearby. I highly recommend this Flat and would stay here again and again.

Perfect host

The hospitality of Marili was incredible. The view of the Mediterranean was breathtaking . Marili stocked the kitchen with breakfast food, snacks and drinks. She really went out if her way to make sure everything was perfect for us. We enjoyed it so much that we have already booked a return stay!

Wonderful in Every Way

We had a wonderful time staying at Mowita! It’s a charming flat on the boardwalk with so many fantastic restaurants within walking distance. Our Host Marili takes every need and want into consideration and made us feel totally at home. We can say enough about how wonderful our stay was. We will visit again!

Sister Trip

Marilli was a great host. From the moment she picked us up from the airport and took us to experience some local sights, we knew this would be a great trip. We enjoyed wine and an authentic dinner at her home with her husband, who made homemade bolognese sauce. Marilli also took us to experience the local market and the most delicious lunch. Then took us to the port to continue our Mediterranean cruise.

Fantastic Mowita Seaside Flat!

My family (2 adults, 2 teens) stayed at this flat for a day before embarking on our cruise. I cannot say enough good things about this beautiful flat, its location and its wonderful owner. From the moment Marelí picked us up from the airport in Rome, I knew we had made a new friend. She is so lovely and our car ride to Civitavecchia was filled with lively conversation. The location for Mowita is superb! So picturesque and only a short walk to the train station where we hopped on a shuttle to the port. The flat is gorgeous, clean, well-appointed and AIR-CONDITIONED! Marelí thought of everything, from a basket of snacks our daughters raided, to towels, soaps, a binder with restaurant suggestions as well as instructions about the flat. It is small, but perfect for the four of us for a short stay. We spent the day off our arrival exploring the beach across from the flat and eating the best pizza ever at Mastro Titto - just a short walk away. That night, Marelí picked us up and welcomed us into her home where we met her husband, Marco, and they cooked a five-course meal for us! We enjoyed it out on her balcony and I cannot tell you how wonderful it was to spend the evening being truly immersed in Italian culture and company that way. They even patiently allowed me to practice my Italian which I've been attempting to learn for years! This spot is absolutely perfect and we hope to be back again someday!

Exceeded expectations!

The best kept secret in Italy, our hostess was the best she showed us all around villages around Rome. White Glove service from the time she picked us up at the airport till we arrived at her beautiful flat, and yes the pictures were 1000 percent accurate. If you are planning a cruise this is the perfect spot!

Maria is fantastic. Very accommodating, car service was a great way to arrive and get to know her. Beautiful sea views from the living room and bedroom. Comfortable beds, snacks to enjoy and eggs and toast for us to make in the morning. Perfection. She provided us information for a morning walk, roamed the farmers market, and had pizza at Pizzeria La Ternana. Great way to kick off our Mediterranean cruise. Highly recommended!
