“Manitou Lodge is gorgeous! The lodge itself is amazing: rustic vibe with elk skins, lots of oversized furniture, games, books and big pillows. “As always, this cabin doesn't disappoint. Its so cozy and there is so much to do in and around the property. The trails are breathtaking. The cabin has all the supplies you could want and then some. “We had a great 2 night stay. We have 2 adults (downstairs bedroom) and our 21 and 18 year old (loft). Great location for exploring- we hit the rainforest (go early- the line was really long to get in by the time we left) and Ruby Beach- highly recommend both. We cooked some basic meals- the kitchen was well stocked and easy to maneuver in. Everything was super clean and the beds were comfortable. “The property is well maintained and very cozy inside. Comfortable beds and couches and a fully stocked kitchen if needed. It is well located to downtown and to the hiking and beach areas which made it a great location. The outside view is fantastic and so relaxing to sit outside by the river. “This property is in a beautiful wooded setting and is in a convenient location to access different areas of Olympic National park. It also has easy access to head to Port Angeles for supplies, restaurants and other needs. Between the cabin and the cottage we were able to accommodate our extended family of 12. "It was beautiful right next to the beach. Front desk staff were super nice! The only thing I have to complain about is the housekeeping. It was around 9:30AM when the housekeeper knocked and scanned her card without waiting for a response from us. She tried to come in and I screamed “ someone’s still in here” and she left. I didn’t care about it the first time but she came AGAIN in half an hour or so and tried to come in again. It would been a pleasant stay if the housekeeper was well managed and let them know which rooms are empty and not. Overall it was a good experience as for the location. "
