「Beautiful property, close to wineries and restaurants 」

「Beautiful modern clean de luxe bungalow with everything you need for a pleasant stay. Park was not too big and has 2 great pools for a much needed cool down. Staff at reception and cleaning staff were super friendly and helpful. You can hire bikes onsite if you want to cycle the wine trail.」

By the 1850s and 1860s, the flourishing farm was something of a town, with housing for workers and managers, a store, church, community buildings, etc. Many of those original buildings are now converted into boutique and highly unique accommodations. 「Our room was ok but unfortunately we were a few feet away from the pubs beer garden. So any smokers would smoke out of the beer garden in the car park and next to our room, the smoke wafted i into our room. But the worst part was being there on a Friday night they had a band playing in the beer garden, and being so close it was extremely loud, no way you could sleep through it, let alone hear the TV without it being turned up to the max. We tried to swap rooms but were told thr hotel is full....
