"We had an amazing stay. The only issue we had was that we were told we didnt need reservations for dinner then when we went to dinner, we could not be seated because we didnt have a reservation. Apparently, there was a staffing issue and they could not accommodate anyone else beside the reservations they had already. The dining room was empty and the outside patio was not even close to being full. This was a very big disappointment as I was looking forward to having a nice dinner here. We went to O'Briens to eat. This place is a restaurant/bar. We enjoyed our dinner, but it was not the type of dinner we wanted. We stayed two nights and only had one night to eat dinner at this hotel. I highly recommend the hotel. We ate breakfast here and the waitress confirmed the hotel's issue with staffing and call outs. "

"Had a wonderful 1 night stay. We stayed in the Lighthouse room, which was bright and cool. All rooms are on the second floor, so pack accordingly. The hallway, kitcgen and dining area upstairs are not airconditioned, but there was a breeze and fans. The view if the St Lawrence from there was so relaxing. Breakfast was delicious, but would recommend that they get better quality plastic ware. We would stay there again. We also did the sunset river cruise which was a very relaxing, affordable 2 hour boat ride (owned by the same people as the Inn). "

"Many yrs ago I spent time in Alexandria bay and brought my grandchildren to the thousands island area to make fond memories for them. Words can't explain how disappointed I was with that area. Clayton was so beautiful and accommodating. This property was wonderful and very clean. When we return to Clayton we will stay here"

"1850 farmhouse that has been loved and cared for. The home was immaculately clean, well stocked, and organized. Linda and Brenda have thought of everything to make guests comfortable, and they were wonderful hosts. Cozy and relaxing, with plenty of room and places to rest and gather. I wish I could spend a month here!!!"

"We have been to the 1,000 islands several times and this was our favorite rental. The location is perfect. On an island with beautiful views and only a short boat ride to Clayton. Robin responded to all our questions immediately and was very helpful on where to go for help when one of our boats started having engine issues. Will plan to stay there again next time we get back there. "

"The photos are accurate as far as descriptions but cottage is much larger than it appears in photos. It was immaculate kitchen well equipped even had extras such as spices coffee honey etc which I ve never seen in past units I have booked Bedrooms roomy additional linen available AC which was a blessing. Washer and dryer available but we didn’t use owner Kathy is a gem. Her home is on property but she is unobtrusive. Thoroughly enjoyed the front porch table with umbrella. Travelled with pets and when Kathy noticed I was trying to barricade them on porch she nicely provided a gate. Location is within walking distance to shops etc great brewery steps away Check in was a breeze as we received instructions prior to our arrival Of note if you need to have use of pullout couch there is an extra fee Wi-Fi and roku tv perfect. You will not be disappointed if you book this units"
