Great Views Clear Lake Vacation Home

Come enjoy our vacation home on the South Side of Clear Lake Iowa. This property has 3 bedrooms, 2 baths, 2 living areas, dining area, fully stocked kitchen, loft with Hawks-Nest balcony deck. The Captains' quarters has a King memory foam bed and the Mermaid quarters has a queen-sized memory foam bed. The Crew quarters are great for kids with bunk beds and trundle. Lastly for really big groups, the loft can sleep 4 with 2 foam beds and a sofa. Kids and teens also love loft area as a hang out spot as well. Kids are always welcome and the house misses the sound of little feet and the energy all children bring.

Home has 2 baths and a continuous water heater for plenty of hot water.

For entertainment, we have a smart TV for streaming, DVD player, whole home Wi-Fi as well as a
1980's 60-game cocktail table arcade machine (Galaga, Pac-Man, Donkey-Kong, Space Invaders, Frogger, etc.). Numerous board games and bags equipment. Or curl up with a good book on one of the three decks and watch the world go by.

Cement Parking available for 4 cars which is a rarity being this close to the lake.

Please note there isn’t a dishwasher or microwave at this property.

Great weekend getaway for families
Everything about the stay was awesome. The instructions and communication prior to arrival were complete and clear. The property was clean, stocked with all the necessary items and the location is better than what is in the listing description. The house is very spacious and it was nice to have separate areas for everyone to hang out. We definitely plan to come back. Thanks for being such a great host!

Lake vacation
We stayed here for a brief lake getaway and had a wonderful time. The beds were comfortable and the kids really enjoyed the arcade game! We missed not having a microwave but made do with the toaster oven. Some instructions for tricks to get the oven going would be helpful, we were not able to get it running but overall really enjoyed our stay. We would stay here again

Wonderful place!
We stayed for a family reunion in the area. It was the perfect place! The space had adequate amenities and was in a great location! Jeff was very kind and available to answer any questions. Would definitely recommend their home to others and would stay again for a long weekend.

Nostalgic beach house with all the right vibes
Beautiful property with nostalgic vibes - 80s arcade games, kids loft hangout, comfy furniture all around made this house so fun and comfortable- sitting on the back porch enjoying the lake views or watching a movie in the living room this was exactly what we were looking for. Host was easy and laid back and it was clear this has been a cherished family place for them. Thanks for sharing!!

Perfect for Family
Everything about our stay was easy. The ease of finding the house, to using the keypad for entry and exit, the quietness of the neighborhood, to the closeness of downtown Clear Lake and Clear Lake State Park and beach. The neighborhood was perfect for walking our dog with low to no traffic streets and idyllic peeks of the lake. The house was the perfect size for our family of 6 with a fun little loft for the kids. Jeff was available for anything we needed and communicated well. We highly recommend this spot for a relaxing getaway.

Fabulous!
This lake house is fabulous, it’s very impressive. From the moment you walk in you can see that it is very well cared for and impeccably clean. It is so cute and very accommodating. There are plenty of games and puzzles, cable tv, and a very pretty view of the lake from the back sun room and deck area just to mention a few of the best things. Very impressive, we will definitely go back again!

Great Getaway!
This was a great stay for our annual getaway to clear lake. The cabin was everything we needed it to be. The kids enjoyed the arcade and the loft, and the parents enjoyed the ability to find quiet spaces to read.

Nice spacious stay!
Stayed with parents, daughter and granddaughter (5 of us total). This place is so charming clean and fun! Plenty of room for lots more people and super close to both beaches! Abundant household supplies and amenities plus friendly surroundings that feel just like home. Nice neighborhood. Room to spread out and also gather. Outstanding view. 2 bathrooms were so convenient. Holiday get away
The Clear Lake cabin/house is our go-to whenever we are in town. There are two separate living areas (perfect for those of us with children) we are always greeted with snacks and the kids love the video game machine! Separate loft area is perfect for teens to hide away. The town is wonderful, we love the half moon steak house. Our only “problem” now is convincing Jeff to let us rent on the summer!! This was our third trip There and we WILL be back next year. What a fantastic weekend

Comfortable at the Lake!
This home has great space to accommodate a family! Tons of dining and relaxing space. You can tell the family really cares for this place. It was a perfect weekend getaway for our party of six adults. Great location near PM Park-- we rode our bikes everywhere! This was exactly the type of experience you hope for when renting a home!

Great get away!
Very comfortable cozy home, plenty of space. Jeff, the owner was very friendly and accommodating to ensure we had everything we needed. The weather turned sour canceling the Christmas at the Lake festivities; Jeff was great about letting us know about the cancellation and any changes we may have needed to make for our reservation. We chose to brave the weather and enjoy the get away. Jeff checked in with us throughout the weekend to take care of any weather related, snow removal needs, etc. that was really nice.

What a great house!
It was a beautiful location for fall. The leaves were changing, there's a good view of the lake and plenty of space to go for walks. It's not too far from downtown and room for 4 cars. There are great gathering spaces, clean bathrooms and super owners. Jeff was so accommodating and kind! We'd love to stay again!
