Great location, property needs work

Never saw anyone from property to check if everything was ok, only saw a handy man. No trash cans only at reception. No lighting for foot path to pod in dark. Cover missing on extractor fan in shower. Bleach stains on towels. No pillow protectors. No dish washer as listed in description. Asked to check out at 12.00 noon, states on listing check out 1pm. Kitchen area and shower rom nice and clean. Can't believe no one came to see if all was ok.

Paper Thin Walls and Smoke Smell

While there is charm to staying in a dome, it was quite unpleasant dealing with the paper thin walls between units. We could hear the people next door come in a 1 am, use the bathroom, slam the microwave, and they talked until at least 3 am. We could hear every word of their conversation and other activities. The dome itself said absolutely no smoking, but it smelled of old cigarette smoke. The entrance was covered in bugs that we had to sweep off, the grounds were very unkept, and there was glitter on all the bedding which lead me to believe they had not washed the bedding. In addition, there was no third pillow for our guest and a lack of towels. You can't get anything extra as the office isn't even open on the weekends. Its essentially like camping without the camping price.

Read the fine print

There are a few things you should know before booking this property. 1- Studio 5 is only half of the dome house in the pictures. That means, you are sharing close quarters with 2 additional rooms (#3 & #4). For us, we found this out at 6am when the neighbors started moving around cooking, talking, etc.. The walls between each unit are not sound proof, or even sound buffering. You will hear every-single-sound. 2- AC unit is for the entire dome house, with no controls in each unit. Therefore at 11:30pm when we arrived, it was freezing and we could not make any adjustments. You will not be able to turn the AC on or off, nor set the temperature. 3- Bathroom is small - not a huge issue, but there is very little counterspace. For 2 people this could be slightly inconvenient. Other than the above, the unit was clean and organized. It would be comfortable for maybe 1 or 2 nights. The bed is queen sized.
