What a beautiful and comfortable place! The communication by the host was excellent, the photos were accurate (looks even better in person!), and the value was exceptional. The close proximity to the beach during the unseasonably warm weather was a lovely bonus! Highly recommended and I would be happy to stay here again.

We arrived approximately 1800 at the property. The neighborhood was ok but definitely adjacent to some other than ideal feeling place. The exterior entrance is a shared entrance with a first story “apartment”. The two guys (no one we know) staying in the downstairs apartment arrived at the same time. Both us and the downstairs guys found live roaches within 5 minutes of arrival (ours was in the fridge). We messaged the “host” who said it was “top priority”. We told the host we were leaving after finding two other dead bugs. He messaged to verify we had left the property and then continued the reservation. Then the day after telling him we left, he messaged to tell us the Orkin folks would be out the next day to spray (not sure 48 hours into a planned 72 hour trip is the “top priority” behavior). Again I verified he understood we left within 30 minutes of arrival. He clearly didn’t cancel my reservation as evidenced by the fact I’m writing this review now. Do yourself a favor and only stay here if you are traveling with other people you can rent both “units”. Also may want to inquire when the last time they sprayed for bugs was prior to booking. Also “steps from the beach” is a bit of an exaggeration.
