"We really enjoyed our stay here. The house has a cozy, homey feel and was a nice place to come back to after being out for the day. It was quiet, comfortable, and had a relaxed vibe that made the trip easy.The location was a big plus for us. Hammonasset Beach was only a few minutes away, and Madison center was just as close, which made it easy to grab dinner or pop out for anything we needed. The outdoor fireplace was also a really nice touch and made the evenings feel special.Overall, it was a simple, comfortable stay in a great spot, and we’d definitely come back."

"All I can say is the second I walked in this house…I felt like I was stepping into a dream . Though it is a historic home , the new remodeling to this house is so exquisitely designed with every detail imaginable taken to keep the charm and history this home carries as a true landmark in the area. Anything anyone would want while staying there was readily available perfectly placed . This home was so comfortable and fully stocked with necessities right down to the high quality linens that were abundantly available folded so beautifully in linen closets to the throw pillows and soft blankets in the living room . It was evident from the onset of my stay to the end of my stay, I had made one of the best decisions in choosing this home while in CT. Lastly but not least… Thank you from the bottom of my heart my “Host” a complete stranger who now feels like a friend. I will not forget the effort you made in assuring all my needs were met. "The house was charming. It was the perfect venue for a birthday weekend for our daughter and several friends. We had great meals at home and a wonderful celebration at Chamard Vineyards which is very near by. Hosts were great. "

"What a sweet cottage! We had three adults and two children stay and there was room for us all. The host left a fully stocked snack basket which my kids loved. Fully stocked kitchen and very comfortable beds. It snowed overnight and before we were up, the driveway was plowed and the front walkway cleared! We had a great stay and will return if we are back in the area. Highly recommend!"
