Cozy cottage near downtown Clinton, Marina & Hammonasset Park

"This cute cottage had everything my family needed for our short visit to the CT coast. It's a very short drive to plenty of local activities (Hammonassett State Park, Clinton Outlets, lots of restaurants) located in a quiet little neighborhood near the marina. I love that the large deck and the selection of board games encouraged us to have plenty of screen-free family time together (especially on a rainy day!). My kids loved having their own spaces to regroup between activities, and though it was a challenge for the four of us to share a bathroom, the water pressure was amazing and we never ran out of hot water. The house had everything we needed for a comfortable stay, from the cushy bed linens to the small details in the kitchen. Thank you to Jaime for being a great host! We would absolutely rent this cottage again."

"This house was spotless and there were added sweet little details (fan folding toilet paper and fan folding kitchen towels) in addition.The deck was private and overlooked the marsh- a perfect place to start and end each day!"

"This cottage was a perfect get-away. The house is adorable, newly redone, and very clean. It's walking distance to restaurants, the marina, ice cream, you name it. It's also very close to the highway so you can get anyway quickly. Good place for family with older kids. I mainly stayed by myself, but my 21 year old son joined for a night as well."

"The Lamplighter is the place I always stay at when I am in this section of Connecticut. It has Clean Rooms, Comfortable Beds, Good Working Air-conditioning, plenty of Hot Water for the Shower, a Low Price, Friendly Staff, Microwaves and Refrigerators, close to the Highway, walking distance to a Great Restaurant ( the Log Cabin). I'm already looking forward to my Return."

"Everything about our experience was absolutely top notch. The host, accommodations, and the neighborhood was well worth it. This was our first time vacationing on the CT shoreline and we will definitely be back. I highly recommend to anyone considering this location. It was close to everything and the private beach just feet from the house was an added plus!"
