Family weekend

Host was Great but location wasn’t ideal for our needs. The driveway was small definitely didn’t fit our 30 foot trailer like told it would. Did allow to us to check in early but requested us to check out a hour early. Dishes in cabinets were dirty. Probably wouldn’t stay here again.

The property was nice, somewhat in a tight area so be advised. We stayed with our family which included 2 teens and 2 toddlers, we very much looked forward to grilling and doing smores (I looked at the listing to ensure there was a grill) but there was no grill, I reached out through Vrbo and through the email provided in the check and did not get a response during or after the trip. Small detail but very disappointing. Upon check in there was clothing in one of the bedroom dressers, made me feel like the home wasn't properly cleaned before our stay, I would choose another home for our next stay.

Inaccurate description and poor communication

The property description says theres a whirpool/spa, so we booked this property. It was my grandsons birthday and we wanted to treat him to that because he rwally enjoys it. There was nothing at all to do with a whirlpool/spa. We also never got our entry code til about 7 pm, so we were several hours late getting in. Overall the home is nice. But very poor communicating and misleading desciption. We will not be back, and feel we deserve a partial refund.

HORRIBLE

It was the most disappointing vacation in my life. I booked this property for family trip. It was our last summer together before college life begins next year. This property looked like the best fit for our family of 4 and 2 pets.However,when we arrived at the rented house (it took us approximately 4.5 hours of traveling), we discovered that the house was booked by other people who booked it months ago. It was absolutely disappointing to face the double booking. We expected to stay for a couple of nights at this beautiful looking property, but we're left with no place to stay for the night and we had to go to a neighboring city to go to a hotel. The property owner did not respond to my phone calls. He responded to my text message only. It took him and his Evolve management 1.5 hours to figure out that they had to cancel our reservation and reimburse our payment. We received a link to do another reservation, but the earliest was starting next day. I had to find another place for my family and pets. Well, not all hotels nearby accept pets. We departed from Cloudcroft, NM with crushed hopes, totally disappointed, and suppressed. In addition, Vrbo charged us their fee for the service we have never received. It looks like Vrbo and Evolve cannot properly manage such situations with double booking. Regarding this particular property - before you book it, think twice if you are ready to manage a double-booking situation.
