"This was a last minute booking. One snafu with Vacasa with them not being able to verify my ID via DL but with a quick phone call that was corrected. The home itself is nice and has plenty of space and amenities. The decibel reader is a little off-putting but I understand with VA laws being the way they are. Overall, it was a nice stay."

"Super easy check in/ out process. Beautiful quiet, private setting among the trees overlooking the lake. The neighborhood was quiet, but there were still restaurants and bars in the nearby area. There's a perfect view of the Roanoke Star from the rooftop. Downtown was a but sleepy but not dangerous."

"Access for the lake was not good. Would have appreciated steps or, walkway or a railing. My husband is in heart failure an he only got to get in the boat once. Because of the climb. Because we could not use the awning it would have been nice to have an umbrella for the table. The house was beautiful, however it would have been nice to have a TV in each bedroom. There were no dishcloth to wash dishes as the rack in the dishwasher is broken. No trash bags. Hand soap in only the downstairs...

"Absolutely perfect stay. Everything is exactly as pictured. The bed is so comfortable, the shower and tub are divine. The creek is cool and refreshing. Bring firewood and charcoal, paper plates if you don't want a lot of dishes. Bring a good book and enjoy the view from the front porch. Lay under the stars. Relax. "I rented this house for a romantic weekend with my girlfriend. The house was well kept and clean. The area is perfect. The house is located on a small private street. The only warnings I have is the driveway has some bumps that takes careful maneuver with low clearance vehicles and there is a spiral staircase that can be difficult for pets but a gate is there to prevent pets or small children from accessing the stairs.
