Fabulous holiday house

Four generations shared this beautifully appointed five bedroom house. Although it's not located beside the beaches it is about a 750m easy walk. The house is fully equipped & beautifully maintained. We would gladly have another family holiday at his lovely property.

Amazing getaway in an amazing location.

Serendipity proved to be the ultimate retreat for our long weekend getaway. The house was ideal for our family of two teenagers and four adults, offering plenty of room for everyone to feel comfortable. The open-plan design was fantastic, creating a welcoming and spacious atmosphere, and the pool was absolutely delightful. Its location was another highlight—within walking distance to several beautiful beaches and the charming main town of Sawtell. Sawtell itself is a gem, with its picturesque setting, great coffee spots, boutique shopping, and a relaxed vibe perfect for unwinding. It was everything we hoped for and more!

Great for families

We enjoyed a wonderful family reunion/Christmas at Serendipity. The house very extremely clean, comfortable and large enough for everyone to have space. Pool is lovely but shallow and probably needs a sign. All in all a great stay!

The perfect property and location for a group of couples. Immaculate property with a fantastic layout, close walk to the main shops and beach (we didn’t touch our cars the whole time we were there!). Can’t wait to come back to this beautiful part of the world!

Perfect property to accommodate 2 families

This property was well equipped with a walk in pantry a beautiful kitchen, high end finishes. Weber bbq perfect for entertaining a group. The Hill Top cafe is at the top of the street for coffee. Sawtell is an amazing little spot only 5 mins drive to shopping centre. Only wish it was a little closer to the centre of Town and it would have been 10/10.

Needs some TLC

Sadly, the house maintenance was not up to scratch. Poor instructions to enter home, no instructions on how to operate fire place, remote control batteries dead, ran out of gas (no hot water on our last night and fireplace didn’t work the first night and last night/day) bath plugs didn’t work properly, some lights not working, bed frame in main bedroom fell apart, my elderly father also fell over the transparent, glass coffee table which we feel is a hazard. Too many issues to not speak up. Was supposed to be a beautiful long weekend to share with my elderly parents before our son moved to the US for college but it ended up a bit of a disaster. Recommend you do some maintenance (including ALWAYS ensuring your gas bottles are not empty mid winter) before renting the house out again and please please update the house manual to include instructions on how to operate things like the fireplace, the door keypad and inform Coffs Coastal Accommodation that you don’t actually have a lockbox!
