「There was a huge rain storm as we were approaching our rental, which flooded the road that was necessary to enter the area. Our hosts were on the phone with us, helping us to get a hotel in the area that accommodated pets. This is apparent with the attention to detail in the property description, restaurant suggestions, activities, even down to watching the 25MPH speed limit in Duck.The house is clean, well taken care of and great options with the pool and hot tub. 「The cottage itself was cute and if properly cleaned and maintained it would have been wonderful. The floor/tiles in one bathroom were loose, in the other bathroom the floor felt "squishy" and there were multiple broken/cracked shelves in the shower. Two of the burners on the stove did not work and when using the stove/oven there was smoke. The window when opened to alleviate the smoke would not stay open. This property allows pets and unfortunately their cleaning and repairs do not keep up with...

「Christine and Paul are wonderful hosts and their home is perfect for multiple family members, children and pets. The weather at the beginning of the week was not great, but we still enjoyed our family time. Our granddaughter LOVED the upper deck crow’s nest. Weather improved as the week went on and my husband caught enough fish for dinner. Life is good at the beach! Thank you for your hospitality. #blessed」

「My family of 4 enjoyed our stay at the Saltaire Cottages. The location was better than I could have asked for - literally steps away from a beautiful beach with very few people. We did travel in Late May so it may have been before the crowds but it was perfect. There is a local bar and burger joint steps from the cottages which made it great for an evening drink and snacks.
