Filthy hotel, with staff who smoke in every room. Unfriendly and useless staff — they lost paperwork and overcharged me. An absolute disgrace to the historic building. Should be shut down!

The building is beautiful, however the room itself was truly nothing special, the windows do not stay open and there is no air-conditioning so the room was unbearably hot all night. In the morning when I had a shower I had to pick between scorching or freezing and due to the hot room freezing was preferred. Overall, the main attraction to this hotel is the building being beautiful but I would be highly unlikely to stay again and would not recommend to my friends and family.

I turned up early, and the friendly receptionist, chatted with me for ages. The room was sootless and when I checked in they had put a heater on to ensure the room wad warm. I will definitely return.
