「Perfect little bolt hole with lovely countryside views. Ideally posiitoned for walks in the forest (5 minute walk from the door to the forest) and down to Symmonds Yat. Paul was a great host, very friendly and accommodating. Everything was super clean in the 'pigsty'. Definitely a funky place to stay. Would definitely go again!」

「We stayed in Apt 1 on ground floor which was great. Very roomy & had everything we needed. It was handy being able to prepare breakfast & dinner if needed. Washing machine was a bonus & came in handy after travelling for a bit so was able to wash our clothes. Lidl supermarket less than 10 min easy walk. Would highly recommend. 」

「Two single beds a bit creaky, not enough toilet roll 1for four nights. Parking spot very tight and not marked very clearly (someone took our parking spot when we returned late one night, hard to find another spot. Overall very happy with our stay」

「Great place to stay, especially with the dog. Fabulous walking right from the pod door. The pods are great, all clean, the double bed is definitely cosy but their description of the pod on the website is accurate, it is basic but they never profess to be anything else. Barbecue in front of each pod is great, we cooked supper and breakfast on it, for all you carnivores, the butcher in Fownhope is fabulous. If you just need a base to chill out in, this is absolutely perfect.」

「The apartment we stayed in was perfect for our stay as a basis to explore Gloucester and the northern Cotswolds. The docks with a choice of restaurants is in walking distance, parking for the car at the back with easy access. Beds were super comfy. Everything was clean. Perfect. We will be back! 」

「We had a wonderful stay at the Old Fleece. The Studio apartment was lovely, spacious and had everything you could need for a few days away. A fantastic small kitchen with fridge, dishwasher, microwave and induction hob. The staff were wonderful, happy to help in any way. We will definitely visit again.」
