"Travel to London was necessary due to a family member at the Wellington Hospital South and the Danubius is within a short walk. The check in with Janine was good; informative, courteous and friendly. We had a King Room that was ok. The bathroom was very small but served a purpose albeit the bath/shower was just adequate. Unfortunately our room (710) was close enough to train lines so the noise element was very prevalent! The room was clean but dated. The breakfast was excellent and good value with many options and choices available. Dinner in the Pavillion Bar was good with sufficient menu choices. Staff in the Pavillion Bar were friendly, courteous, respectful and knowledgeable of the fare available. If I was attending a match at Lords or having to travel to be an hospital inpatient I would happily stay at the Danubius."

"A gem of a hotel. Located in a northern district of London, but well worth the additional time needed to get there. Great rooms, excellent free breakfast, and relaxing atmosphere. "

"There were hardly any amenities at all in our room aside from the bare essentials and a coffee pitcher. No ice, no fridge etc. There was also very poor ventilation. A shower would make the room VERY muggy, which was uncomfortable and unclean. No window to open. I rate this so low was due to an experience that we had with a particular staff member. We had gotten a noise complaint and a staff member came up. I opened the door and immediately apologized, saying that we had gotten back late and had to pack our things to leave, not realizing the time. He was very hostile, telling me that there was no point in speaking quietly now because he knew that we had been noisy, even though I admitted it and apologized he continued to say it again and again, cutting me off. He asked how many people were in the room and I said 3. He asked how many adults and I said 3. There had been a mistake with our booking so it came up as 2 adults and 1 child, but the hotel was generous and let us stay in one room. But he told us that one of us had to go, mind you we are three young girls alone in a big city, so naturally I panic and plea with him not to kick us out. When I asked where we would go he said it wasn’t his problem. He continued to threaten until he then forced us all to promise we’d be quiet. We checked out the next day and reported him. I give two stars is because of the lovely lady at the desk who we spoke to about the incident, who seemed genuinely concerned for us and was very sweet."
