"This is an older hotel but it is very well maintained. Has a quaint feel to it. I guess they used to serve breakfast at one time. Has an older fitness room but everything worked. Pool was nice. It had a nice outdoor porch. Walking distance to downtown restaurants and shops, the park and lake. We walked to the Moses cone manor from downtown. Would stay again,"

"The room was very nice and accommodating. The temps outside were brutal, but the staff had the room temp set to get immediate relief from the heat. Comfortable beds made for a good night's sleep. We were not at the hotel very long so we did not take advantage of many of the amenities available. We did enjoy the breakfast available. Would choose a Hilton Garden location again."

"Our whole stay was fantastic. The front desk staff were always present, helpful, and pleasant. Rooms were clean. Breakfast was good. Pancakes instead of waffles, nice layout for breakfast so that there was plenty of room. There was plenty of staff keeping everything full the moment it was empty. The cookies at night were fantastic! Coffee and tea were excellent. I would definitely stay again."

"The property was beautiful and decently maintained from what I could tell. We had a cobweb on our door we had to clear to enter our room. The toilet seat was held on with one bolt and is an accident waiting to happen. We used some electrical tape to keep it in place. The sink had toothpaste in it. The door code proces worked great. I didn't have to wait and complete paperwork to check in. We were not there long enough to really check out anything."

"Beautiful cabin! while not ON the water, it’s as close as you could get. I love how every bit on space was utilized. (I rented this hoping is was a tiny home setup and it is). The deck is where I spent every night for hours listening to the locusts and frog and maybe the occasional late night boat. The shower is great. If you’re one that needs HIGH water pressure, lake home isnt for you, but it was decent! The only thing I wished were different would be much dimmer lighting options for the deck. Just felt a little on display at night so I just left them off. Love the layout, I feel the bed in the downstairs bdrm was quite comfortable. Loved the TV on the deck and the blackstone! This is basic setup I’d want minus the loft but my friend’s son loved it up there with the window seat when they came up with the boat for a night out on the lake. ABSOLUTELY STUNNING when they came up nearly full moon finally came up over the trees. HIGHLY RECOMMEND if you need to get away from the chaos of life and feel one with nature."

"Absolutely wonderful stay at Parkview Lodge & Cabins! My boyfriend and I had such a lovely experience from start to finish. The staff were incredibly kind, welcoming, and genuinely went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. They were thoughtful enough to offer us extra towels and even provided water, which made us feel so well taken care of. What really stood out to us was how accommodating and helpful everyone was. We accidentally left my boyfriend’s pillow behind, and they were kind enough to agree to ship it all the way to us in Florida rather than simply leaving us to figure it out ourselves. That level of kindness and customer service is so rare and really says a lot about the people who run this place. The lodge and cabins made our stay feel comfortable, peaceful, and memorable. We’re so grateful for how warmly we were treated and would absolutely 100% recommend Parkview Lodge & Cabins to anyone visiting Avery County, North Carolina. We would happily stay here again! ❤️"
