「Wonderful family and people and property. It is a budget hostel so please keep that in mind. Don’t expect something fancy. The owner makes it affordable and the fees are mainly to keep it operating to make it possible for people travelling on a budget to experience this beautiful country and the property is magnificent in tranquility. 「The hotel room which looks the same as shown in the photos provided is clean and new. The staff members are nice and most of them can speak fluent English. Our stay was comfortable. However, the hotel is quite far away from the main attractions as it is located in Colombo 06, but it was easy for us to take a tuk tuk to go to the main attractions and the fare was acceptable, like about 400 rupees.」

"Beautiful hotel, very centrally located and right next to the ocean. Our room was nice and spacious and clean. Staff and management were very nice and helpful all around. Eg 1: I had hurt my ankle the previous day, and over our 2 day stay, they assisted my wife in getting ice for my leg. Eg 2: We also needed a screwdriver to remove the battery from a toy we bought (for plane travel), and the staff went out of their way to help out with it (laughing at us). The breakfast and dinner buffet had great food, and the performer at the dinner buffet also played our song requests! Great place overall, would definitely recommend. "
