Nice small place with wonderful employees that were very helpful anytime we needed them. The cleaning crew was particularly helpful.

We liked how quiet and safe it was. Everyone would leave their cabin door open while they were there

Great for a unique stay
It’s a very unique place to stay. Do not expect a 5 star hotel but that’s what we like. We like private and unique - and a safe place for our dogs where people don’t stick their nose up. Perfect for us
What a gem! Love this spot. Wish I stayed here sooner. Great spot to chill out. Lost of food options within walking distance. Got a great cafe right across the street.
Spacious lodge units with parking near the lodge units. Convenient location for access to businesses and attractions. All conveninet appliances supplied in teh room, but tey ran out of coffee for the coffee maker!

Old but nice
Manitou Springs has been renovating their older hotels. This place is like living in a lodge. Our little lodge was clean and roomy.
A clear view of Pikes Peak. Restaurants nearby. Easy access to highways.
We enjoyed staying at El Colorado! The owner and staff were attentive, the room was very clean (I walked around in socks and they stayed clean), and the mattress was comfortable. This is a historic property so updating is complicated but they've done well with keeping it nice. I felt safe and there was lots to do nearby. Great coffee across the street. Was sad to leave.
This is a quirky little unique place. Kinda cute. Bed was comfortable shower was clean. Neighborhood around kind of sketchy.

Super cute property that allows pets. Employees are really nice and helpful. The property could use a cleanup. There is a lot of trash around the grounds. I would stay here again without question!
The charming cottages are modernized but inside there is a perfectly balanced comfort factor and classical taste. Nothing was left to be desired...Absolutely worth the reasonable rate and perfectly located in Manitou Springs. The family run business is so far my favorite stay now in this area. Great, courteous service and 100% clean and cozy.
The Main Lodge is rustic and beautifully restored!! Great shape for almost 100 yrs old. My cabin was clean! Updated w/tile floors, nice shower, kitchenette, windows that open and bonus skylite. Attached was a private Pergola w/picnic table.
Joey - Lodge Manager is friendly and very accomodating! Look forward to a return visit!
We enjoyed staying here. The entire unit is very charming and much bigger than staying at hotel. The unit we stayed in has a large living room area. Everything in here seems fairly new. It is very clean. This place is not right in downtown Manitou Springs which is great (less noise and no crowds) yet very convenient to do everything (Garden of the Gods, Pikes Peak, hiking in the area). The staffs are wonderful and friendly. It’s a great place to stay.
This is an historic property that is in process of being renovated. It is a charming collection of adobe style “cabins” that may have been used as a base camp for Pikes Peak. It was easy to locate and parking was good. It will only get better and better. It was a great pet-friendly value for our three night visit to Pikes Peak. It’s also close to Garden of the Gods and Cave of the Winds. Owner is very nice and accommodating. I recommend.

Liked: Staff & service
we had booked a room in a cabin at the El Colorado lodge.
It turned out we needed to cancel the day of because of some travel restraints. Anyhow we stopped in and the place looked nice and the staff was so kind and understanding of our situation. We are definitely planning to go back and stay some time in the future and were so blessed by there kindness.
The room was adorable! I was pleasantly surprised. The only negative for me was no coffee creamer! The staff were all kind and the room was clean. If they fixed the pool to have that up and running this place would be a HUGE success!
I enjoyed the little Casita I had because it was a stand alone place with a yard and gazebo and parking along side of it. It had a living room and tiny kitchenette. It was only 5 minutes from work. I will plan to return there next year because it was also affordable.

The sofa in our room was filthy and smelled of pee. Buildings are dated and can use an uplift. But the staff was great.
