Amazing!

Fantastic location and unique and charming home with plenty of rooms, comfy beds and attentive hosts. The location alone is worth the money but the home is lovely and spacious. Especially loved that it was decorated for our family Christmas!

Fun family trip!

Beautiful home and such a great location. My family enjoyed being steps away from all the shops in Manitou Springs and enjoyed gathering on the porch and in the hot tub to catch up with each other. Wonderful hosts and fantastic vacation.

Thanksgiving in Manitou

The property was beautiful, clean and well equipped. The hosts made sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed!! Such a lovely place for our holiday!

We loved our stay at the Avenue in Manitou Springs. The location could not have been more central. The home is beautifully furnished and there was every supply, appliance and utensil we could possibly need. Thanks for such a great stay.

Great venue for family events!

We stayed at the Mansion & Carriage House in Manitou Springs to celebrate a graduation with friends and family. The venue and location were great! Manitou Springs is such a quaint mountain town that provided our guests some fun activities to do when we had down time. We highly recommend for any family-oriented event where you can have family meals and celebrations together under one roof.

Lovely Place!

The main house was beautiful and very clean. It had an amazing view overlooking Manitou Avenue. The house is very well taken care of and it was perfect for our group of 13 people and 4 kids. The cottage in the back was super cute and it gave the property a community feel where you could just cross the patio to visit your neighbor.

Heaven in Manitou Springs!

This is an amazing property right in the Main Street in Manitou Springs. When you walk out the door you are just steps to all the shops and restaurants! Conveniently located and a beautiful home, you can’t ask for any more!

The Avenue

We had a wonderful time staying at The Avenue. Situated on the main road in downtown Manitou Springs, the location and historic home was perfect for the 14 of us to celebrate Thanksgiving. The property managers were easy to work with and went out of their way to ensure everything was perfect.

Family Reunion and Wedding

Great house, with lots of interesting rooms, bathrooms, hidden doors, and slippery floors. Excellent kitchen, hot tub, laundry. Great location, with lots to do just down the street -- and hot beignets literally across the street! Ample parking.

Charming House

The Avenue is a charming house in an ideal location. The rooms were furnished with lovely period furniture that was functional and comfortable. The beds were especially comfortable. The house was also exceptionally clean, especially for such an old home. The kitchen was perfectly stocked, including provided coffee! We'd love to stay here again next year!

All Around Wonderful

This home is more magical than the pictures make it out to be! It was perfect for our large group to enjoy the common areas together and have plenty of comfort/privacy in our own rooms. Plenty of bathrooms to go around and an excellent kitchen. Best of all is the location! Just steps away from all you need in downtown Manitou Springs and only minutes away from many other great attractions in the area. We loved our stay!

Fantastic mansion

We had a great time on New Years Eve. A group of nerdy friends playing games, enjoying the hot tub, and exploring this interesting home. Comfortable beds and 9 bathrooms from which to choose. Updated kitchen was functional and clean.

Making memories

Our first family vacation in many years with all our kids and grandkids to celebrate our 50th anniversary. The Avenue was absolutely perfect for us! Manitou Springs offers fun for every age, and we had so many adventures. Thank you for giving us wonderful memories that we will cherish forever.

Fantastic Family Reunion 2023

This property is amazing. Great location to local businesses. Beds, bedding & pillows were the most comfortable of any places we have rented. Lots more stairs than we anticipated from internet pictures & write ups. We loved having our reunion here! We had family from state of WA, AK, CO,TX & MT. What a great time for us to all gather.

80th Birthday

Superb location. Adequate accommodations for a large group of 13 people. Family gathering and dining areas worked very well beside the well equipped kitchen. The steps and multiple levels presented a challenge to one of our handicapped guests but the rear access to the carriage house and short cut to the kitchen solved the problem. The many attractions in the surrounding area were another benefit. Thank you for an enjoyable experience.

Heart of Manitou

We had a wonderful stay at “the Avenue” in Manitou Springs. It was a nostalgic return to my hometown. We loved the Victorian feel of the home, the perfect location—right by downtown Manitou shopping district, and the decor—antique furnishings with a more modern kitchen and family room seating area. Two eating areas gave us plenty of room for gathering to eat and play games and my toddler grandchildren loved the game room. One even fell asleep in the arms of the giant teddy bear! We would definitely stay again.

Excellent VRBO!!!

This property is better than described. Tina and her team were excellent at communication and the property had everything you would need for a week stay. There was a bathroom for each bedroom. The beds, pillows, linens and towels were of the highest quality. The front porch and back patio were our favorite locations to people watch and simply enjoy the scenery. This is an excellent location to enjoy Manitou Springs, most everything is within walking distance. Plus a number of other attractions were within close proximity making this the perfect location for a vacation.

Beautiful home in excellent location

Perfect amount of communication with owner, easy check in process. Beautiful historic mansion with original details/nostalgia with convenience of many bathrooms. So much room we couldn’t even utilize all of it! Loved the covered front porch- we played cards there every night overlooking the main downtown street. Many sites/ things to do in walking distance, many more adventures just a 15 minute drive away. Every person in our party wants to return with their families!

Excellent Location, Spacious, with all the Extras

We love to cook while we work, so our concern was that we wouldn't have enough space for everyone to sleep comfortably and resources in the kitchen to prepare food for 16 people. This home has it all! The house just keeps going on and on (or, shall I write, up and up!). The kitchen is equipped with everything you could possibly need. That it opens up to two rooms that are equally relaxing and conducive to work was icing on the cake. Highly recommend!

Perfect family getaway!

This place had everything we needed to enjoy our stay for our son’s December graduation from the Air Force Academy! It was nice to be able to walk along the Main Street in Manitou Springs right outside your door, for coffee or snacks or dinner. The kitchen was very well-stocked and there was enough space for the extended family to enjoy some quiet time! The only down side (but not really a deterrent) was the multiple levels of floors, which wasn’t too much of a problem for the younger kids but being from Florida at sea level and having to do stairs to get to bedrooms was a challenge for some of the older members of the family. Overall, it was a great stay and the owner and property managers were extremely nice and helpful. We would definitely stay again. It was a magical visit for us, with the added bonus of snow! ❄️

Location and house way beyond our expectations! Management team is incredible! We did have a snag or 2 and management was timely with responses as well as kind and patient. They helped with my payment confusion and everything!!
