Beautiful Home with a Peaceful Backyard Retreat – Perfect for Fort Benning Visitors

We had a wonderful stay while in town for an Army boot camp graduation. The home was beautiful, clean, and well-maintained. The backyard was an absolute dream, so relaxing and perfect for unwinding. The location was great, just a short 15-20 minute drive to Fort Benning, making it ideal for anyone visiting the area. The neighborhood was quiet and peaceful. We truly enjoyed our time here and would love to stay again!

Quiet and cozy

Came to town to visit family. House was in a quiet neighborhood and close to stores and restaurants. Very clean. Loved sitting out on back porch and looking at the pool. Looking forward to staying again in the summer and using the pool. Little too cold in December!! Check in was easy and fast response from host.

Best VRBO property yet.

I've rented 5 other VRBOs before, so far, this is hands down the best one yet. There is a Tv in all the rooms except the bunk bed room. They are all programed. The bed linen was clean, and the matresses were quality. I have a bad back, and a quality matress is imperative to me enjoying my vacation. The appliances were all new, the freezer had an ice maker. The kitchen/frontroom are very spacious. We were able to comfortably have a six person meal at their kitchen table and were able to cook 10 filet mingons 6 baked potatos carrots and biscuits in the oven that they had, all while using their utensils. I would definitely recommend this property to everyone.

Perfect house for our family to stay in while my daughter got her family weekend pass from basic training graduation. Clean, great layout, beautiful pool. If we ever have to come back, we will definitely book again.

Great property. There was plenty of room for everyone. Large outdoor entertainment area. The pool was huge and clean. The host were very quick to respond to any questions. This property is close to Walmart and a shopping plaza with a gas station so it was very convenient. Fort Benning is just a short drive, for those visiting the base.

Everything you could need!

Peaceful neighborhood, clean, comfortable and well-equipped house and a great back yard for gathering, games, eating and swimming. We had a perfect long weekend and would highly recommend staying here!

Great place for family

We booked for our sons TG and graduation. It was perfect for our family of 7. Property was very clean. We ate all our meals there and had everything we needed to prepare our food. The pool was amazing and great to have with our 5 kiddos!It was close to Walmart very easy to get to base.

Perfect for the family

Stayed here with my GF and our 4 kids. Plenty of space inside and outside. Pool was great. Back deck had plenty of space to hang out and eat outside. Kitchen had everything you need to cook full meals and we were plenty close to restaurants and downtown.

Turning Blue Ceremony

We came up to see our son's Turning Blue Ceremony and Army National Guard Graduation. The house is about 20 minutes away from Fort Benning and was perfect for our family. Loved the pool. Thank you

Visit to Ft. Benning

We were visiting our son at Ft. Benning for his Turning Green ceremony. Location was great. 15 minutes to main gate at base. Convenient to shops and restaurants. Cozy house. Loved the large pool and covered deck. Great for lazy days lounging at the pool and some needed relaxation for our soldier. Very responsive host. Highly recommend!

Relaxing

I booked this place mainly for the outdoor area. The patio is a nice size to be able to sit and relax. The pool is a nice size and was kept clean. The house was comfortable and had all the necessary items to make a stay enjoyable. The neighborhood was quiet and we were able to walk the street for exercise. There is a park not far with a small lake the had a walking track as well. I would stay here again.

Turning green trip

Little run down neighborhood but quiet and close to Fort Moore, restaurants and downtown. Also, very close to a beautiful lake. Good space for the 4 of us to stay. Master bathroom was quite small but not a big deal for us. No lotion provided( made a trip to Walmart close by to remedy that). No towels provided for the pool.

Needs work

The property is okay & worked, but we wouldn’t book again. The pool was nice to have, but was dirty & the filter is set to a timer, so it wasn’t cleaning most of the day. Everything outside was dirty, covered in pollen, absolutely nothing was wiped down before our arrival, & there was a used paint roller & spray bottle thrown off the porch into the bushes in the back. The inside of the house appeared clean, however there are issues. The side door to the carport doesn’t actually latch correctly unless you pull and lift, the screen for that same door is so hard to get to latch at all, the door to the bathroom in the back bedroom sticks to the point where you get stuck in there if you close it, the fan in the back bedroom doesn’t work, the floor of the bathroom & the shower were all painted & it is peeling off, they left exactly 1 towel per bed in the unit to account for 5 days of bathing & swimming, the couch in the living room is actually horrible. The couch is broken so the arm rest learns out & when you’re sitting on the couch it feels like you’re sliding forward. The stove/oven is too small for the space so you have huge gaps on the sides & are unable to cook more than 1 thing at a time in the oven, & the stovetop burners cook unevenly, tv missing from bedroom with holes from the mount still in the wall. The water pressure in the main bathroom is very week. There also isn’t enough dishes for everyone. They had 6 small plates and 1 large plate, but the home sleeps 8.
