"The lodge is set in a beautiful panoramic location that feels peaceful and serene. The main lodge has a warm, sociable atmosphere, and we enjoyed visiting with the other guests. The property is currently undergoing restoration, and while our room was certainly livable, it did not appear to be fully finished. A number of details still needed attention, including the installation of the toilet paper holder, mounting the hair dryer, and hanging all of the blinds. Artwork had not yet been placed in the room, and it lacked some of the character and lodge-style touches one might expect. The refrigerator was dated, and although there was no microwave in the room, one was available in the main lodge. Housekeeping was very friendly, but the staff appeared to be stretched thin. As a result, the room could have been cleaner at check-in; for example, there was hair in the bathroom when we arrived. Overall, this is a beautiful property with a great deal of promise. Once the restoration is complete, it has the potential to become a very special place."

"This hotel was amazing! Views stunning...right on board walk...huge room with kitchen....and used their bbq too. There was propane heaters in cabannas out front and fire pits. They have laundry facilities as well but only one washer. Only comment is that there should be a toaster in the rooms with Kitchens. "

"Breakfast was great! They had a pancake making machine that impressed our grandson. They had fresh fruit, yoghurt, hot omelettes, bacon one morning and breakfast sausage the next. They had toast, muffins bagels, GF bagels!👍 The staff was so nice. The bedding and towels Snow White. We loved our stay there"

"A well-maintained hotel with very comfortable beds. We were really hoping to get a room with an ocean view, but unfortunately, none were available. We hope to enjoy the view next time."
