"A really charming and quirky house, perched on an overlook above a bend in the James river. Very friendly host, nice grounds, and plenty to explore in the surroundings. We did some outdoor grilling and a fire in the pit on a very starry night. The kids were disappointed that the hottub wasn't working that weekend, but there were plenty of games and some swings nearby to keep them occupied."

Suzy the host was so hospitable, she had coffee stuff and and snacks available in the home for guests. Very peaceful setting, so easy to relax in. The front porch and rear patio were awesome to have our coffee on. We would definetely go back. We love history and antiques so this was a perfect place for us to stay."

"I called the owner the night before for check in info as I had not heard from him he told me that there was already someone else in the cabin. We had booked this cabin in Feb. 5 months before and paid in full needless to say I was not a happy camper. We did get a full refund from him. However I can not help but think of I had to cancel the night before I would have been out the money I feel he owes me more then just what we paid some kind of reimbursement for all the trouble we had to go...
