"The hotel was fine. A few places to eat right on the same block. Train station one block away, and the Train system was pretty easy to navigate. The area isn’t as sketchy as it looks from google street view. A few homeless around."

"For the past two years, I have been staying at this hotel whenever I travel from New York to São Paulo. I always choose it because of its central location. However, during my last visit on February 8th, 2026, I had a terrible experience. I was given a dirty room with no towels and garbage on the floor. I immediately called the front desk, and they sent a housekeeper, but the one who arrived was rude. I asked to speak with a manager immediately. As a paying customer, I don't want to take a long, expensive flight from New York to SP just to be treated poorly. When the manager arrived, he didn't even apologize for the inconvenience. He did, however, upgrade me to a nicer room, which I appreciated. Still, his attitude made me realize that no one at the hotel truly cares about customer satisfaction. There seem to be many new staff members who lack concern for guests. Therefore, I cannot recommend this hotel."

"The breakfast menu was surprising given the general tardiness of the rooms and the passage ways. The hotel is tired and dated and the room requires an update. "

"The hotel is OK but for the price I expected a bit more. Breakfast is nice, a large variety of hot and cold foods. The coffee is OK. My room had a broken warm water knob. They changed my room. The new room had poor to no internet connection and thus the smart TV kept disconnecting. Should be easy to fix. The bed sleeps nicely. There is late check out at 12:00 p.m. Room faces busy street with a lot of noise. The neighborhood isnt particularly nice to walk around in. Parking isnt free. It is 50 BRL for 2x 12 hours. For the price you pay for the hotel it should be free. For the same price you can book a complete studio in a nice area with free parking, pool, gym and kitchen. This one is good for business travellers I guess."
