Hotel was a lovely old hotel and everything needed was provided in the room. Due to the age there were some creaks and bumps and the church clock struck on the hour. So, earplugs were also provided if needed. That said i would definitely stay again.

We loved our stay at the hotel. From the team who checked us in to dinner service we had impeccable service. The hotel is comfortable and well appointed. It is close to all of the historic sites and the waterfront. It was very relaxing and highly recommended staying here.

The property was in an excellent location and within walking distance to all the main sites. The room was well provisioned and very clean. It certainly had the "old world" feeling consistent with being in a "castle" town.

Perfectly located central hotel with loads of character and charm and parking too! The staff are so friendly and helpful and really went that bit extra to make the stay more enjoyable. Sunday roast was very tasty and our waitress was outstanding. If you have a big car you will need to use the hotel carpark across the road as to access the rear car park you have to go through a very narrow archway. Room was very comfy and well furnished although if you are road facing you may get a bit of noise in the morning but that wasn't an issue for us.
