“Booked a short stay and chose Crockgarve after reading the reviews. To be honest it seemed too good to be true but I am thrilled to be proven wrong. The location and room was stunning and exactly what we needed for our stay. What really made it special was Margo. Margo could not do enough to make our stay as pleasant as possible from the welcome drink with her and her husband to the amazing breakfasts, you are made to feel so welcome and part of the family. Margo makes it seem effortless but……

“The rooms are not the ones in the photos on the website. They are dated, freezing cold, the windows are drafty, walls are paper thin and the bathroom is very grubby. ”

“Very quiet and rural location. There is pub nearby which has great atmosphere and really good food. Well placed to travel around and see the different sites.”

“There is no dryer on this property (the listing says washer and dryer) which I specifically booked this house in the middle of our trip to do a bit of laundry and now I just have lots of wet laundry sitting in my vehicle hoping it will dry before it gets smelly.”
