"We LOVED our stay! The house had everything we needed from spices in the kitchen to hot chocolate for my boys. The dog bed and dog toy were a bonus! This was our first family trip that we brought our pup with us, and I feel now he'll get to go on every vacation. The fenced in yard was great, the view from the yard/deck was wonderful. The owners gave us a bunch of recommendations from places to hike and where to eat. Everything was wonderful!"

"Once booked, I had nothing but great communication with Karen the owner. She left a lovely note about the history of the home and how it has been in her family since it was built. It was built in 1902 and is an older home, but it gives a great feeling of what it is to live in the hills of West Virginia. Her Mom welcomed us and visited to make sure we had everything we needed. "We loved this house, located on the river next to the general store. The owners are extremely welcoming. Each of my three kids had their own room, which they were thrilled about. The general store had fantastic breakfasts and desserts. The house is right down the road from one of the national park visitors centers.
