“I recommend that guests double-check and confirm with the front desk whether their deposit will be refunded automatically or if they need to swipe their card in person. I was very frustrated when the front desk employee told me during check-out that I didn’t need to swipe my card to get the deposit refund. However, after driving an hour away, the front desk called me back to inform me that I had to return to swipe the card in person......Lost my time and gas.”

“The staff were very sweet and helpful, our room was very clean and comfortable. We had the pool to ourselves which is lovely, and the area itself is a great location for the hotel, right on the water, I imagine they’re booked and busy in the summer months. They have a restaurant on site, limited options but still pretty good food and not bad prices either. Parking was easy and very accessible. We did ask for a late checkout and think it possible they forgot to add that onto our thing if that’s……

“Every time we go to Barrie, we stay at the Fairfield hotel. It is very clean, we like the breakfast options, the service is great. And in a great location. I wish they still had the hot tub, but the pool was actually nice & warm. ”
