The house is a 5 bedroom, 3 full + 2 half bath house that comfortably sleeps 10 & offers tons of private and family friendly community amenities nestled within The Ocean Sands community. POOL OPEN WITH HEAT OPTION AVAILABLE

When you pull up to this beautiful new construction house, the reality of your ultimate Outer Banks vacation will settle in! You'll find that this gorgeous oceanside home provides plenty of parking for everyone in your group. After a fun-filled day at the beach, rinse off the sand in the Outdoor Shower and take a dip in the luxurious Private Saltwater Pool for extra relaxation and that resort feel. Ocean Sands provides the perfect setting for an unforgettable Outer Banks vacation.
**Please Note: RV's, Campers, Trailers, Boats, and Golf Carts are not permitted or allowed to be parked at this rental property's driveway, private street, public street, or any common area in this property's community.**
A Harris Teeter shopping center is conveniently located right across the highway for all your grocery and supply needs. Swing next door to Urban Kitchen or Pizzazz Pizza for a bite to eat or Spend the day shopping by the nearby TimBuck II Shopping Village with plenty of dining options for when you get hungry such as Mike Dianna's Grill Room, La Dolce Vita, North Banks Restaurant & Raw Bar, Big Buck's Homemade Ice Cream, Mama Easley's—just to name a few! Duck Donuts and Island Smoothie are great options for a sweet treat and for a unique bar experience, try Off the Wall Tap House.
The history buffs in your group will love exploring the historic Whalehead Club or climbing to the top of the Currituck Lighthouse for an amazing 360-degree view of the surrounding town. To get a true Corolla experience, don't forget to take a wild horse tour where you can watch the Corolla wild mustangs roam the 4x4 beaches. No matter how you choose to spend your vacation, Beach Wood is the perfect home for making memories!
Pool Heating Disclaimer:
The property’s saltwater pool is equipped with an electric heat pump, which is designed to raise the water temperature to approximately 10°F above the ambient outdoor air temperature. Please be advised that weather conditions in the Outer Banks (OBX) are inherently variable and may include cooler temperatures and/or precipitation, both of which can significantly impact the effectiveness and perceived warmth of the heated pool.
Once pool heat has been scheduled and the heater activated—typically 24 to 36 hours prior to check-in—no refunds, partial or full, shall be issued due to weather-related factors or perceived temperature discomfort.
Should you wish to cancel pool heat, notice must be provided at least 48 hours prior to 4:00 PM on the scheduled check-in day in order to allow sufficient time to coordinate with our pool service provider.
**The property is equipped with outdoor security cameras facing only the driveway/front of the house. They capture video only (no sound) and are there for the protection of renters and the property. The 2 main entry doors have video doorbells for security and simple use.
**Animal Restriction Clause**
1. No Animals Permitted
Due to the property owners’ severe asthma and allergies, no animals of any kind are allowed on the premises at any time, including but not limited to service animals and emotional support animals. The presence of animals poses a direct threat to the health and safety of the owners that cannot be mitigated.
2. Compliance with ADA and NC Law
This policy is in compliance with exceptions outlined in the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and North Carolina law, which allow property owners to restrict animals, including service animals, if their presence poses a direct health or safety risk to others.
3. Consequences of Violation
Any guest or visitor who brings an animal onto the property will be required to immediately remove the animal or vacate the premises. The guest may also be subject to additional cleaning fees and the immediate termination of the rental agreement, without refund.
4. Alternative Options
We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in maintaining a safe and healthy environment for all guests. There are numerous pet-friendly properties in the Outer Banks, and we are happy to assist you in locating a suitable rental where your pets are welcome.
