The house interior layout was very nice. All rooms were cleaned well when we arrived. AC worked well. Garbage collection days should be posted. Trash cans were labeled Wed/Sat when actual was Mon/Fri (We left a note on fridge for next occupants)Kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans, dishes, etc. for our group of 14 (8 adults 4 kids). We did notice lots of spiders during our week stay. Cob webs visible on vaulted ceilings.Pool area was adequate (not overly appealing). Pool/Hot Tub was serviced on day of our arrival and again mid-week. Area where volley ball court was unkempt and loaded with sandspurs (unable to walk on sand with bare feet). Overall we had a favorable experience and enjoyed our stay.

Fantastic

An absolutely wonderful week. Perfect weather. The house had everything we needed. Spacious, clean and well equipped. Had an issue with the pool heater, but it was taken care of immediately. Would highly recommend to a large family.

Lemon cooler

Well equipped house with lots of room and amenities. Lower level refrigerator non-functioning with promise it would be replaced - never happened.

Great experience

This was are first time vacationing in the obx and it was a great time. Everyone loved it here especially enjoying the pool at this home. It had plenty of outdoor space around the pool and all the deck space was great to have. The house was great, unfortunately we were told the group before was rough on the house and few things broke and went wrong but the maintenance group was awesome in responding and staying on top of things. We understand things like this can happen with houses being rented every week and it’s just not possible for homes to be inspected from top to bottom. They were all minor things and definitely did not stop us from enjoying are time at this home. Not to far of a walk to the beach, although that is are goal for next year is to be on the beach. But if not this is the house we will be back at for sure

Over all very good

The House was not ready when we arrived at 4, so that was disappointing. The cleaning lady felt rushed so we feel she did not clean as well, because of it. The elevator was not working until Thursday and all that was need was for it to be reset, feel like that could have been taken care of earlier in the week so that we could have used it more, since we had someone who needs it for health reasons.

Family Vacation

House location and amenities were ideal for the type of restful vacation we were trying to have. Unfortunately, the cleanliness aspect of the house was a little disappointing. While the rooms and bathrooms were clean, the common areas were not up to par and a little dingy. We constantly had to swipe the sofas for sand every time we sat down from the moment we got there. Also, all of the floors were sandy when we arrived as well. We did sweeping when we left and the house was cleaner than when we arrived. Also, the backyard was filled with these prickly weeds that made it difficult to play in the yard. There were also large branches sticking out of the volleyball court that were very dangerous and could not be removed. Either way, we enjoyed our time together and made the best of it.

Very large

Overall we enjoyed our stay. The distance to the beach was a short walk. The house was big and we all had our own bathrooms. We were unable to use the backyard bc there were sharp bur pods all over. They ended up piercing through sandals and had to be removed from our dogs paws. I reached out to maintenance but they said they couldn’t do anything about it. The pool was great and so was the hot tub

Family vacation

The house was fine. But the screened in porch was unusable because of the bugs. The grill was filthy the exits i instructions put the duty to clean the grill on the exiting party. We couldn’t use it even though I had to buy a new tank of gas because it was empty. None of the porch furniture was usable because they were coated in bugs We got a call mid week from an”elevator repair “ service asking all kids of questions. When we called the emergency number we were told they were an answering service and call 911 but there no crime in OBX so don’t worry. The doors had flimsy locks so we were very concerned. When we called the next day (because no one returned the emergency call). They basically said the same thing. No crime and don’t worry. The maintenance were great. The were very responsive but didn’t repair the slider to the pool. It was broken all week. Finally, nothing to do with the house but anti-maskers we’re abusive to those of us that actually care about our health. We were heckled for wearing our masked at various places Overall the house and study was fair

Nice property. BUT

House was in a great location. Quiet neighborhood. Overall the house was just right for our family of 14. However, the house needed a very deep cleaning. Lots of dog hair on the floors, we found chip bags, socks, and cookies in the bedrooms. We found the vacuum and it was completely clogged up with dog hair. The pool was great, although the pool deck was terrible with dog hair. We did call the rental co. Said we should’ve contacted them when we got into the house, they would’ve sent someone to clean again, but. after 11 hours of travel with 7 kids, it just wasn’t feasible . There was plenty of pots and pans for cooking, it did have 2 dishwashers which was nice. Overall, not sure we would use this property again.

Beautiful house!

This property was spotless when we arrived, very clean, very well stocked kitchen, there is plenty of pots, pans, accessories, dishes, glasses, it is the best stocked kitchen of any property I've ever rented. The location is good, close walk to the beach, the decks are beautiful as well as the interior, very spacious, enough room for everyone to sit and have their own space. Two dishwashers and two refrigerators were very helpful! Everyone loved the pool table, I would definitely recommend this property. The property management company was very responsive with any questions we had prior to our visit and even called me to let me know the property was ready early for occupancy. Excellent customer service! Thank you for making our Thanksgiving at the beach fun and memorable!

Great house

We had a wonderful week. Very open with kitchen and living room on top floor. Beautiful views from the spacious decks. Very private; not very close to neighbors. Huge plus is it’s dog friendly. We will definitely be back.

Great house. Had everything we needed. It coukd have been cleaner. A couple of maintenace issues which were mostly resolved. A broken freezer icemaker that was replaced, but still didnt work. Thank goodness for second fridge/freezer in lower level.

Very nice house

We very much enjoyed our stay at the lemon cooler! It was very spacious and loved that every single bedroom had its own bathroom! The weather was cooler than expected so we asked for the pool to be heated however it wasn't really worth the extra money we paid. The pool never really got warm until later in the afternoon and by looks of the timer I don't think they turned it on until about 2pm? But the kids still went in even though it was freezing and the adults got to chill in the hot tub! The sauna is also a very nice amenity to have as it started to get chilly towards the close of our week. Overall we loved the house, but there are a few minor things I would have fixed around the property like the speakers by the pool (one seemed to be hanging by the wire and the other one kept shorting out). The kitchen was very well equipped with every pot and pan you can imagine but it took a little bit to find where everything was! The house was cleaned like the bathrooms and bedrooms, but we felt the floors and couches were pretty sandy for just being cleaned. Otherwise the few minor issues around the house were taken care of immediately with the property manager and we enjoyed our week the best we could despite having terrible weather. Thanks for a lovely vacation!

We had such a perfect week at this home! It was ideal for our large family with kids ranging from 2-13 years old! The pool was such a great break from the beach and we even called Adult Swims because we loved it so much! I would definitely stay again!

Great extended family vacation home

We had 13 adults and plenty if room. Saltwater pool was better than going to the beach. Highly recommend lemon cooler for large groups.

Summer vacation 2019

We had a great time at the Lemon Cooler. The check in process was less than 5 min - very friendly service. The house was in good clean condition. Location: very close to a beautiful beach. We liked the pool area, really big pool for a vacation home. The house is very spacious.

Disappointed

Upon arrival the AC not working we called realtor they sent one of there people then he said he would call HVAC so hopefully by Sunday get service. The pool was not ready the hot tub was green i told realtor, they said they would put a call in but couldn’t say if anyone would come. The WiFi was down and tv,s not working that was another call so they had to walk us through the fuse box location so we could reset everything. The master bed that had a king bed had queen size sheets so that was another call I got an attitude from the woman who was covering the Sunday phone she seemed to question why we wanted King sheets. Oh there were clothes in the drawers in the bathroom and a diaper under the bed. This was a stressful vacation we never received a call back from anyone to check if there was anything else. The floors were dirty and the sofas had sand on them. We will not be staying in Corolla again.
