House was nice & clean with plenty of room to sleep. A/C worked great. Kids loved the pool & outdoor space. Staff was very helpful & friendly. Having a washer & dryer helped too.

Everything was great, the rooms were spacious and the pool was the perfect size for the kids! The overall experience was Great! My kids would love to be back at this house again

House was in nice area close to all the souvenir shops and a short drive to the beach. The house itself was in rough condition, but we made it work. Some of the issues we had were taken care of fast by the management team. The pool is private, but the shade in the backyard creates a hotbed for mosquitoes. We couldn’t enjoy the pool for more than a few minutes at a time before getting eaten up by mosquitos. I get we’re in Texas, but that yard needs to be treated with repellent before stays. Probably won’t stay here again unless some serious renovation is done. I just don’t think it was worth the price we paid for the weekend.

Great weekend stay!!

We loved our stay at the Surf Inn. The house was clean and had all the amenities we needed. We loved the location in town. Access to rent the golf cart was a pleasant surprise. Mark & Melinda were easy to work with and made the stay so enjoyable. We already booked another weekend.

Amazing Stay!

We absolutely loved the house location! With kids the nearby park is an absolute plus! The pool and cart are so convenient to have on-site to use! Access to the beach and all the local restaurants is a short cart ride away. The house came equip with kitchen utensils and was beautiful inside! Our stay was amazing and the kiddos really loved the bunk beds!

Cozy beach house with tons of amenities

This was the PERFECT little beach house: great location (golf cart provided SAVED us), amazing amenities including pool, fire pit, horse shoe area, multiple tvs for entertainment, and extra toiletries for convenience. Everything was so clean and the house was decorated beautifully. 10/10 would recommend!!

Fun Beach Getaway

Excellent place! Cute, clean, just what we needed. Loved access to the private pool and golf cart. 5 minute drive to the beach, close to restaurants and shops. My kids loved having their own room and we all loved the games that were available for us to play. Plenty of towels, cool AC and loved having the outdoor shower to rinse off at after a day at the beach. The outdoor area was great as well with darts, TV and a swing. We will be staying here again!

Fun home!

We used the surfinn for my son’s 15th birthday party! It was so perfect! The back yard, the heated pool, the golf cart! It was all so amazing and easy. Any time I had a question it was answered quickly. Can’t recommend this wonderful place enough!

Wonderful stay

The outdoor space was awesome. Plenty of room for 6 adults and 4 kids. They even have some games for adults and children. Plenty of room in the kitchen. There are some weak spots in the floor that need to be addressed but we put a towel over these to keep everyone off of it. We had a great time and are excited to come back.

Heated pool

Everything was great except that it was advertised as a heated pool. That’s the reason I revered this property. It was like pulling teeth, but they finally turned the on the heat for the pool after much deliberation.

Best if backyard is usable

Decent house. Stay became better when self treated the swarms of mosquitos in the backyard. Had to purchase own repellent, candles, etc to even make the backyard usable. Master bathroom is extremely small and has a weird smell to it. Beds are very firm and pillows are thin. Living room and kitchen were great and very clean.

Better options for the money. Outside is almost unusable from mosquitos. Places in the floor that felt like you might step through. Direct golf cart rental was nice. Place is okay but needs some love.

The property was in poor condition. There were multiple places where the exterior layer of the floor was peeled off, the workmanship in the house was terrible. It looked like a very poor DIY job It was a 2-star house at best. The house needs to be completely redone. The AC froze up because the filter was so filthy, The BBQ pit was so dirty we had to spend time burning all of the nasty off before we could use it. The back yard trees need to be trimmed because all of the dead pieces were falling in the pool. My husband is very familiar with pools and we had to adjust the nozzles to get the debris from the trees to flow into the skimmers. He also had to backflush the pool multiple times. The pool was the best part about the house even though it is VERY small. There's no way 10 people could get in the pool and be comfortable. There was a golf cart on the property, but we were told that we could not use it even though there were reviews referencing the use of a golf cart. This was my first time staying in a VRBO and I don't think I'll ever do it again.

Simple, easy and fantastic!!

We booked this with another couple and had a great time. The house is a bit older but was clean and had everything we needed and more. The pool was fantastic to have after long days on the beach. The fire pit was a plus and the back yard in general was my favorite spot. Lots of palm trees providing privacy and shade. We watched a football game on the outdoor T.V. And planned to use the grill but we had a load of snacks so it never happened. Super Close to everything but in a cute little neighborhood off the regular beaten track so it feels more private and it’s quiet. Would love to stay here again but it is a rare find so book far in advance!!! The staff at Vacasa was also amazing. I realized the golf cart was blocking the outdoor tv when we arrived and let them know we planned to watch a game in a couple days. They had it moved within the hour and were easy to get ahold of and communicate with. Come to find out, we could have moved it ourselves but I didn’t know that.

Very cute home

The house is clean, very nice, and had all of the amenities we needed. It was very convenient to be able to rent a golf cart directly from the owners. The pool in the backyard is adorable, but we didn't opt to be out there much. Mosquitoes are really bad, so it wasn't pleasant to sit outside unless you were covered in bug spray, unfortunately. The town sprays, but there are still a ton of them. There's nothing to be done - I'm sure it's just because you don't get the strong ocean breeze on that side of town. The town pool / dog park / tennis courts / skate park / soccer fields is just down the road; walkable. That would be really nice for families with young kids - when looking for things to do when you're not at the beach.

Great except

Overall great property. We’ve stayed at a few different places in port an and this one is the best. Communication to the property manager was a mess. The messages in the app might not have ever went to the property manager, not sure exactly. I messaged days before my stay with no response. The check in day I got an automatic message with invitation to chat. This chat feature was to Vacasa and was very strange. Very uniformed people that didn’t help. Possible just a bot. Then two days into my stay when I repeatedly asked for the pool heater to be turned on finally the bot connected me to the property manager. She came by and turned the heater on for us. It was almost necessary in mid march. But the house is Very nice.
